“Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. If you're on vacation here,……
“It's a beautiful place with a beautiful room in a spectacular area . And a very helpful staff. The food was a bit underwhelming compared to what we were expecting.”
“Plenty of parking at the rear of the pub for guest, which was great as there isn’t any parking on the Main Street. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice.”
“An amazing renovated farmhouse with Nicky and Kevin as charming helpful hosts in the lovely village of Samford Courtney. Clean comfortable bedroom with en-suite. Great breakfast. Nicky provided clear directions to the Tarka Trail path where we viewed the sweet scent of bluebells. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.”
“Great stay in a centrally located hotel/pub - staff were excellent and food first-class.
Room and the facilities were very good
The village was very pleasant too! I would absolutely stay here again.”
