"The room was clean, slightly outdated, but comfortable. The pool is heated and a decent size, there are some pebbles on the floor of the pool, could use resurfacing, not terrible though. There is an option for a time share presentation for those who are interested although the concierge was not pushy. The hotel is connected to Mr. Eds restaurant, tried several dishes, most was mid but they serve large portions. My room had a view facing Canal and the water, very nice with the curtains open at night. The bell staff was super helpful with luggage coming and going. There are some daily fees and a daily parking fee to be aware of, so take extra funds for that. Overall, the stay was good, and the area is close to where you want to be but not directly in the middle of the action. I would stay again."

"Beautiful hotel in a great location! Staff is incredible, very kind and helpful. Our main issue was with the poor water pressure in the shower and the water sometimes took up to 15 minutes to heat up. Otherwise the room was nice, a little outdated but very comfortable and quiet. "

"The property is very outdated and needs a really good remodel done. The breakfast was tolerable, but nothing to brag about. The front clerks were nice and accommodating. The hotel is not one I plan to stay at again. It is conveniently located right off I-10 and access to Canal St/Bourbon St was cool. This hotel has potential, but needs a company that is willing to do the work to update it with compassion and care that works best for the patrons."

"Very convenient location for those wanting to be near Bourbon Street. Room was just enough for what we needed. Check in and check out were by very easy."

"They’re making an effort in a tough neighborhood by locking the parking area. Room itself is fine but missing some usual things: tissues, cups or glasses, shelf in shower for soap/shampoo, light over bed reachable from bed. Toilet makes gad awful sound when flushed."

"Short overnight stay, only headache is that the main entrance isn't on the main road so Uber pick up location on property changed for every pick up & caused confusion for the drivers."

"Based on the pictures the hotel appears to be fairly decent however I was highly disappointed. One of the elevators sounds like it needs maintenance and smells like mildew and needs a good cleaning. The hallways also smell like mildew. There was what appeared to be a dehumidifier in the hallway but was not turned on. I had to switch my room because the first one had standing water when I turned the shower on. The next room they moved me to was not any better. The room floor looked as if they needed to be mopped and there was mildew behind the bathroom mirror. The bathroom is also very small. The bed was hard and the mini sink in the room had rust spots on it. Overall the hotel is not as clean as it should be. The ceilings on yhe 8th floor has chipped paint that looks as if there should be some renovation taking place. I would not recommend. I tried to cancel m reservation but was not able to do so."
