「When they say breakfast, they actually mean stale Cheerios, and watered down coffee. When you finally get into your room, you get hit in the face with a wall of smoke smell, we had to run to the store to get deodorizer and Lysol because we were scared to sleep in the bed. We made sure to wipe down every surface when we got back into our room because every time we got back into our room, there was a roach crawling around either on the counter or the floor.」

「Location is ideal for canyon lake. I had trouble with the lock when I first arrived and the owner was reachable and helpful. Unfortunately the room was less than ideal and did not look like the pictures on expedia. It smelled moldy and musty, the shower had significant amounts of mildew/mold. As a solo woman traveler I would have appreciated a more secure room. The owner has access to the room and there is no internal lock to feel more secure. 「It was close to a lot of Alamo Heights which has lovely shopping and excellent restaurants. It is affordable and clean and adjacent to my favored parts of the city. Those seeking closeness to the SA most famous attractions might find it remote」

「Parking was adequate and well lit. We were arriving late and front desk reached out to make sure everything was ok! We had prepaid for our room to our arrival, thats what I call service!」
