Independent Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs hotels

"Clean and functional rooms with lots of seating & the garden side room had a nice landscape view with balcony. Stay wasn’t as pleasant as it could have been as the check in lady wasn’t too considerate when we requested two more pillows commenting about how what they have in every room “should be enough”. Cribs weren’t available or so they said (ended up requesting them somewhat later- about an hour later of their check in time) - we were doubtful of their sincerity, given the pillow comment and from what we could see the lack of little guests at breakfast. Other staff seemed friendly enough. Breakfast good - liked option of French toast (premade) and bacon, would have liked some toppings for the oatmeal. No elevator."

"Reviewing expedia not the room The description of the hotel was 30 minutes approximately from our preferred location. Expedia failed to give an address until after I booked. Then when we found out the hotel was in Tadousac which is a ferry ride away which costs about $100 and doesn’t even run at this time of year, i tried immediately to get a refund through expedia and I couldn’t. So I phoned the hotel and they said no problem cancelling with no charge, but expedia still charged me even though I cancelled. I emailed expedia to explain rhis and have yet to hear from them I will never use expedia again. I will attempt a complaint to paypal as well"
