The rental was perfect for the two adults and two teenagers we had with us. Great spot on the lake. The views of the lake and the fire pit really made it feel like we were secluded out in nature. "The cabin was fine and the location was very quiet and private. The kitchen was well stocked. There was a bit of a snafu on the dates for the cleaning crew. Thanks to Eric who quickly responded to my call and the housekeeping staff showed up within the hour to clean ( we were headed to dinner and came back to freshly made beds and a spruced up interior. ) It is pet friendly, but not listed in the add was that pets were not allowed on the furniture or bedding. I always bring covers for the furniture and use my own blankets just in case my pup gets on the furniture while we are out ( she is 4 and completely house broken but has been known to sneak up on a couch or chair while we are out , usually sliding to the floor when we come in as if she wasn’t there) To be able to make a decision if the property is a good fit for pet owners, I would have preferred to see this requirement in the description. Overall, a quiet, homey place to stay. "
