Unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations. On arrival, around half of the cutlery and crockery was missing, and what was provided was dirty and still covered in food. There was also no washing-up liquid or sponge available until we specifically asked for it.
The room itself was uncomfortably hot to the extent that we had to turn the heating off and keep the windows open, despite it being winter. The pillows were extremely thin, and even folding them offered little support. We also noticed that the Wi-Fi box was hanging loosely from the wall, which seemed unsafe.
Despite the pre-check-in form clearly confirming two guests, only one set of towels was provided. When we reported these issues during check-in, we were assured they would be resolved while we were out and that we wouldn’t need to be present. However, on returning we found a note saying staff were unable to access the room and that we needed to report to reception.
