Good hotel on a budget

The stay was good i liked the room and enjoyed my stay but just remember its a budget hotel so dont expect wounders you get what you pay for you do need to pay damages deposit + admin fee but i did get the deposit back quite quickly got nothing bad to say for the price i paid for 2 adults for 2 nights

Cheap and cheerful

It was clean and comfortable. The shower wasn't very powerful but the bathroom was quite spacious. Its near a busy road so the traffic was a bit noisy, it was handy for walking into town though.

Good location and practical facilities.

Location was very good and parking was a bonus. The room itself was small and practical with the basics. Overall a pleasant stay after a hard days work.

The exterior area was not very clean beer cans in bush at front and the cigarette ashtray was not emptied from the time I arrived to when I left. The carpark was covered in rubbish and the bins were not emptied. Carpet in corridor needs deep cleaning and I could not get th heating working. The location was great for me with supermarket close, takeaway and pubs were close.

Clean but a bit run down

Great if you need somewhere cheap to just stay the night. The room was perfectly clean but a bit run down and in need of some TLC. (Peeling paint, damp ceilings etc). We just needed a clean bed to stay the night and it did exactly that. Perfectly clean and the communication with the staff is quick and effective.

It was a comfortable stay. There were a few things that could be seen as a safety issue but nothing that’s not fixable. The radiators didn’t work and the room did get quite cold but other than that it was a secure and safe place. I didn’t have to worry about people coming in and out of the building because of the key codes which is good! I would stay here again as it’s quite affordable and again, a comfortable stay. Loads of shops and food places surrounding which is helpful for those who don’t drive. The staff are lovely and polite also.

Needs some work. Bed could be bigger and also headboard needs fixing. Room could be a lot cleaner, marks/damp in walls and cobwebs. Shelving pretty awful and needs cleaning/maintenance. Bathroom needs cleaning, toilet needs a clean and blinds filthy. Windows filthy inside and out. Door gets stuck and door handle is wobbly. However for the amenities and location I can't complain.

Cheap price, but price definitely reflects the accommodation. Ripped curtain, stains on the floor, fridge with microwave ontop of it, room smelt like some one had just warmed up a bowl of soup. Bathroom tap faucet broken, no iron or ironing board, no cups, hand lotion in a tiny tube but no hand wash. Bed was comfy and clean sheets and towels, shower worked fine. If you are purely bothered about a place to sleep and not concerned about any of the other things that come as standard in most hotels then for the price it's ok.

Sad for it’s final week before closure

No pillowcases, mattress protector. Bin not emptied from previous occupant. I doubt it will have any improvement as it closes down this week for at least 3 month. From the other week it looks like a family of imagrants have moved it.

Key code did not arrive on the app until nearly half an hour after I arrived, had to call the number on the front door to get this resolved, also the website states there is a complementary breakfast which is not true and according to another guest this has not been true for some time.

Hidden Charge

I was made to pay a deposit before being able to check in, and they kept £3 as an admin fee for this privilege. I think this is very poor of the property and hotels.com as this was not mentioned when booking. Just a hidden charge.
