AVOID AVOID AVOID!
A few days before check-in, I was asked to provide info. Fine, but the links to upload docs weren't hyperlinked and we didn't have a computer. I sent a follow up request for a hyperlink, no response. We eventually spent a stupid amount of time uploading the docs and info, manually entering the long webpage into our phones.
No check-in instructions were provided, despite attempts via email and the app to get info. Finally had to call (at a cost to us since international calls aren't free) when we were in the train station. They emailed the instructions. Like the person before us mentioned, we walked to the apartment in the pouring rain to find out that we had to walk BACK a quarter mile to some random bike post to get the key. And yes, can confirm, there was a key under the mat of the unit -- we removed this because that felt INCREDIBLY not secure, especially with two small children with us. Oh, and there are signs all over the entry - "make sure to pick up packages, things get stolen all the time, lots of theft!" - really made us feel unsafe. The door chain latch was not there anymore either.
The bathroom was dirty - hair all over the tub and shower, hair on the floor - had to vacuum when we got in.
Couch was unbearably uncomfortable.
I reread the listing because I was in total shock that there was no shampoo or soap provided. Have stayed in many, many rental homes and that was a first.
