Nice resort located on the beach ! Rooms are large and comfortable. All inclusive meals at the buffet were ok (5/10). Drinks were below average (3/10), except for beer. You definitely feel safe at the hotel and staff is friendly and helpful at all times.

I had an ocean-view room, which was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The buffet was good with plenty of options, and there were several à la carte restaurants for dinner that were included as well. I also liked that the beach wasn't private. It gave us the chance to meet friendly, talented local people. Some performed traditional dances, while others sold souvenirs. They were always polite and never pushy. You can also take a nice walk along the beautiful white-sand beach and browse the local shops. My husband and I spent five nights here and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Beautiful property with extremely friendly staff. The view of the beach was amazing. There were events all throughout the day hosted by hotel staff, so we did not have to leave the resort for anything . They cleaned our rooms multiple times a day. Our minibar was always stocked. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for. Relaxing getaway.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it and wish we had more nights here. It recently opened so the areas are in good condition and nice lounge areas with amazing view. The beds were comfortable. We only got to try the «buffet» for lunch which was quite nice. Not that many guests for now which I liked.

I am disappointed with my recent Expedia booking experience and the way this situation was handled. Prior to my arrival, I was notified that my reservation would be moved to accommodate my delayed baggage. I was specifically assured by an Expedia customer service representative that the necessary arrangements had been made and that the issue would be resolved when I arrived at Hotel Riu Palace Swahili. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the hotel that no such accommodation had been arranged. As a result, I paid an additional $595 out of pocket. What made this experience even more frustrating was the constant back-and-forth between Expedia and the hotel throughout the entire day. Despite numerous conversations, no one took ownership of the situation, and there was no meaningful resolution. Instead of enjoying my vacation, I spent valuable time dealing with stress, uncertainty, and unnecessary complications which impacted the trip negatively. As an Expedia Platinum member, I expected a much higher standard of service, communication, and support. I trusted the assurances provided by Expedia’s customer service team, but the outcome was completely different from what I was promised. I am requesting a thorough investigation into this matter and a review of the handling of my case. Given my Platinum membership, the additional financial burden, and the significant inconvenience caused, I would appreciate direct follow-up from management and an appropriate resolution. Thanks

This was a very disappointing experience. I had arrived after a long day of travelling to discover that I had booked the wrong dates and was supposed to arrive the previous day. I always double, triple check the dates when I am booking, but I guess I made a mistake. Once this was realized, I was really hoping the staff would help me resolve this as painlessly as possible. I asked for any kind of break on staying another night, specifically said even $50 off (from $240) would be huge. They responded with a hard no. They made it clear that this was my fault and they had no intention of helping. "Go and check the apps if you want a better price" is what the manager told me. No attempt at all to be empathetic to my situation, with very much a "why should I help you" attitude. I would understand if the place was busy and it was costing them money to give me a break, but it was empty... based on the people I saw, I would estimate they were at 10-15% capacity, tops. In the next 20 minutes after this interaction, I had someone come into my room to "check on the water", then 5 minutes later someone came to "check my bed was made", and then 5 minutes later my wifi cut out! The wifi cut out about 5 times in the night I was there. The beach is also tiny and you will be swarmed with locals trying to sell you stuff. All that being said, other than the manager, the staff was very friendly.

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans cet hôtel et, à notre arrivée, nous avons été conquis. L’établissement est magnifique, les installations sont très agréables et l’ambiance semblait parfaite pour passer de belles vacances. Le plus gros point fort est sans aucun doute le personnel. Tous les employés sont d’une extrême gentillesse : les serveurs, les cuisiniers, l’équipe d’animation, le personnel du bar de la piscine, le ménage… toujours souriants, serviables et attentifs. Un grand merci à eux, car ils font un travail remarquable. Malheureusement, au fil des jours, nous avons constaté que le comportement de certains vacanciers nuisait à l’expérience. Les règles n’étaient pas toujours respectées : certains apportaient de la nourriture à la piscine malgré l’interdiction, laissaient des déchets ou manquaient de respect aux espaces communs. Nous avons également trouvé dommage qu’en descendant vers la plage, nous soyons systématiquement sollicités par les vendeurs. Nous comprenons qu’ils travaillent, mais être constamment abordés nous a parfois découragés d’aller nous promener ou de profiter de la plage. Enfin, l’ambiance musicale nous a parfois dérangés. Certains groupes de vacanciers mettaient leur musique fort et le DJ diffusait de la musique israélienne.
