Great Location
We really enjoyed staying here. It’s a great location with access to Nomans for great food and drinks. The fire pits are supplied with firewood so we had a great evening relaxing by the fire. Loved that they allowed dogs. Beds were very comfortable! Our only complaint was that it advertised having a pool and the weather was beautiful so we looked forward to spending some time poolside but it was still drained.

Overpriced
The property was a little run down. Not close to any beach as advertised....really too far from town to walk. No grocery stores or convenience stores around. Only a restaurant on corner that was fair. Not sure what the hype is about MV. Found it overcrowded, overpriced, and overhyped.

Great stay
The Island Inn is an older style motel but everything is well maintained, super clean and modern. Nice pool and outside areas for kids and room to bbq. 5 min drive to Oak bluff. We would stay there again
