“Our family gathering included 19 adults and 8 children ages 5 & under. Our parents once had a home on Lake Jackson, so this was a trip of memories for all of us. This home provided ample gathering space inside, and the pool proved a great place for outside gathering. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking and most of the utensils we needed. We noted several previous guests had suggested we bring our own sharp knives and disposable dining utensils……

Am Abend sitzt man mit einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer, toll. Die Vermieter sind wie Familie und haben uns " gepampert " und uns ein rundum Wohlfühlpaket geboten. “We ended up getting properties switched due to issues in the houses, but the one we ended up with we absolutely loved!! Very close to Covington Square. Our hostess stayed in touch regularly and was very helpful. Sweet Magnolias was filming there during our visit so we fell in love with the area even more! Everyone is nice! ”

“This was a wonderful location and property. David was super responsive to inquiries and requests. It was a great set-up for big gatherings—lots of room to spread out. The bedrooms were well-appointed. Two of the beds are pull-outs, and they were amazingly comfortable (I was pleasantly surprised). The kitchen was fully stocked. Air-conditioning units in rooms, as well as ceiling fans, made the hot weather bearable. We would definitely book here again. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Celebrated my birthday here and it was seamless! Lots of space and ambient lighting that adds a great vibe to the party. Only thing about the location is it’s close to some train tracks that crosses over the main road leading to the house. I was unable to reach the house to setup for my party for about 30 minutes as the train sat on the tracks and didn’t move. So just be advised knowing/taking backroads would be helpful! ”

“The pictures don't do it justice. It's so much larger than it looks in the pictures. Anything you want is only 10 minutes away or less. My daughter, adult grandchildren and great-grands all live close to Covington. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of old growth that sheilds you from your neighbors. We hope to be back.”
