「This condo is terrific -- even nicer than the photos. There is lots of light and space, everything was comfortable, and the location suited my needs well. The neighborhood is very pleasant with a convenience store a block away and a highly recommended Ethiopian restaurant down the street. I did not really cook, but the kitchen is well equipped. 」

「Overall, this property was as advertised. It is a basement unit in a home. The host allowed an early check-in with their friend to accommodate our flight schedule. They offered suggestions for local restaurants. We had a severe weather event during our stay, and our host responded immediately to clean up a small amount of flood water on a carpet in the entryway. 」

「We truly enjoyed our stay here! This 2 bedroom hall and kitchen house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — Christine made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and seamless experience. We were a family of 6 people (3 generations) that stayed for three weeks, during which we cooked, cleaned, watched TV, and explored the Bay Area. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. 「Owner cancelled the reservation 2 hours before we were to check in. Memorial Day weekend in Oakland, CA. VRBO customer service did not help us rebook, and have promised to refund our payment - haven't seen it yet. 」

「This property is very impressive. It was clean and in order. The bathroom is spacious and beautifully remodeled. The manager was completely accommodating. It is indeed a 5 star property. However, the neighborhood, which looks like it is in the throws of regentrification, is unpleasant in its appearance. Over a short amount of time this will change for the better. In the end don't let the look of the neighborhood discourage your stay here. It's location is a prime place to stay while in Oakland....
