“We were pleased with the home, the view and the grounds. Five adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs were very comfortable. Furniture was nice, there was plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. The owners were super nice and very helpful. We would most definitely stay here again”

“This is an older but nicely remodeled home. Beautiful views even with a rainy weekend. The lake laps right up to the edge of the property. Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. Also, leave an instruction sheet for the TV; it was very challenging trying to figure out how the remote worked and what options were……

“The house is lovey! When we arrived they had not warmed the home it was quite cold inside. The jacuzzi never worked even after we called and Jake came out and assured us he was familiar with the issue! The water remained frigid and the jacuzzi was unusable. Jake was a very nice guy but still no jacuzzi. There were also spider webs in some cabinets and windows.”

“The outdoor spa tub was broken, the water in it was full of garbage (the kids were disappointed), there was no ping pong table like in the photo, the curtains in the living room were dirty, there was no laundry detergent (had to call for delivery) and not enough quilts ( Had to call for delivery), mice were running from the ceiling at night.”

The rental was very clean, location spectacular, truly million dollar views. We had a wonderful time. We hope that future renters can respect their property as their own so that the warnings don't have to seem so restrictive and negative. This is a lovely place and should be treated as such.”

“The location of this house is stunning. It's on a peninsula that sticks out in to Clear Lake, and then it itself is on its own little rocky promontory that sticks out from the peninsula. The house is about 50 feet up from the lake. The upshot of this is that you get an amazing view of the lake from sunrise to sunset, and due to it sticking out to the lake a bit, a lot of the local birds use the updraft it creates. “We had an incredible week visiting Clearlake with our teens. Our daughter rarely left the pool. Our son caught a big catfish right from the backyard! And we all enjoyed the jaccuzzi and firepit. We brought kayaks and enjoyed paddling in the calm waters. The kitchen is well stocked ... has all the basics plus lots of spices! The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. “We had the opportunity to stay at this amazing house with my family and friends for our 4th annual fishing trip. The house had everything we needed to accommodate 5 adults and 3 kids. The location probably cannot get any better than that. It’s located right next to the opening of main lake access. Fish is jumping everywhere. We brought 4 bass boats and the house had parking for our truck and trailers as well as a big boat dock to fit all the boats too. Highly recommended and we hope to stay……

“I have been renting VRBO for 15+ years. This was one top notch choice. View and layout of the home is fantastic. Myself and friend love to cook, everything you would need was available. “We love the cabin and its decor. Had everything we needed. Was impeccably clean, had plenty of towels for the whole family, communication was great. But, the living room window had no drapes, so we had no privacy when in the kitchen/front room, and the beautiful stove was not hooked up to the propane. We are big on cooking breakfast and were not able to do so. We were offered meals at the roadhouse, but our time up there was committed to family at the Italian Village. I wanted to give this place……

“Great stay! Our group of adults and teens enjoyed this house so much. The beds were super comfy and its right on the water. We bbq'd everyday and were visited by the ducks and other wild birds. We would highly recommend this home for a getaway of pure relaxation. 5 Stars!”

“This cabin was exactly what we needed for our short fishing trip at Clearlake. We had a boat and trailer with us and there was plenty of room to park our trailer and turn it around easily. The house is located minutes from a boat launch and had a few restaurants and a small market within walking distance. There’s even a small boat launch in back of the property for kayaks or other small watercraft and you could fish the canal if you’d like—though when we were there the water level was a little……
