Exactly what we needed

Suitable for a 2 people stay. Great pier for sunsets, beach, and restaurants all within walking distance. Pool opens to outdoors which was nice. Good views. No issues with checking in/out.

No toaster, no broom, several lights including the main kitchen light. Livingroom fanlight and 2 bathroom lights burned out. Faucet in tub difficult to stop running/dripping, table on deck was rotted and unusable

While I booked this property on VRBO, the rental was funneled through a local company called Vacasa. This wasn’t addressed or explained, instead we just started getting communication from both companies. We got multiple texts and emails from each with mostly redundant info, which lead to important check-in details getting buried and in one specific email. Because of this, we were left without a parking pass or entry code for the first half of our stay. You’re required to drive to a totally different location to pick up a packet containing these items. The property itself was fine (although it weirdly only provided one pillowcase for like 5 pillows-fortunately we happened to bring a couple of our own pillows, or only one of us would have had something to sleep on). Good location and clean. But the booking process was confusing and frustrating.

Close to the Convention Center

This was an upgrade from a typical hotel room and perfect for 2 people. I loved the proximity to the Convention Center(we were there for a cheer competition) as well as restaurants. The only issue I had was the water was not turned on in the property when I arrived. Luckily I was able to find the valve and turn it on-the property manager should have taken care of that.

Stay was decent, however the place was dirty, we had to clean the bathroom and kitchen areas ourselves. When wiping down the areas of the walls and base, the rags came back black. One of the bar stools still had sunscreen on it, that rubbed off of someones body. Place needs a very good deep clean. Some blankets were just balled up and thrown on a shelf, needed to be washed and dried before use. There was five pillows but only two pillow cases. The dishwasher was left full off dishes to be ran and put away. Hotel was quite loud with small kids running up and down the hallways, even knocking on door and running away. Indoor pool was freezing cold, so we didn't swim and we didn't see many people in the pool. The view from the balcony was not of the bay, it was power generators and electrical grid.

Were the towels moldy?

First of all, I received no communication as to means of checking in. When I did call, I had to lug my things back out of the building, drive to another location, and wait in line. My packet was given to a woman two in front of me who had a similar name; thankfully, she realized it before she left the site. Returned to the building only to find that the lobby code on my packet did not work. Luckily someone was exiting the building so I was able to get in, but then spent another half an hour between two calls trying to get through to an agent and new code before I could leave my building for my evening obligations. It's 2023 - how about phone access to building and room? There was long hair on the bathroom floor and under the couch when I arrived. EWW #1. I really had to use the restroom when I got there after all this time, and there was no paper in there. I searched and finally found a bag in the kitchen with TP, soap, paper towels, etc...why would one look in the kitchen for TP? Put things where they belong, please. The next morning when I took my shower, I discovered black spots all over BOTH bath towels. They also didn't smell clean. EWW #2! I had no choice but to use one since I was soaking wet. Were these hung up wet and got moldy, or what? Inexcusable. Thankfully I had a beach towel to use the rest of my stay. Had to return offsite to check out by 10 a.m. For all of these reasons, I would not use Vacasa again. Makes me believe "premier host" is a purchased title.

This was the right size and location, next to the Convention Center, for me. I enjoyed the pool, gym, and sauna. Even though the room did not have WIFI the lobby did. First time using Vrbo and liked it a lot.

Very nice overall

Very nice efficiency unit. Clean, great location. Note however that the bay view is only if you lean over the balcony and the neighbors balcony is right beside you with no privacy screening. Also, both beds are futons. This would be a great place (5 stars) if there was an actual bed in the unit.
