“I was pleasantly surprised by this new hotel. We usually stay at the Marina Hotel &spa on West St but our last stay was disappointing - too noisy, dirty and worn and the restaurant just sad. The Pathmaker is a more adult hotel, very clean and parking on premise. The restaurant is wonderful - a delicious breakfast is included with the stay.”

“We were in Sullivan for the week at an Air bnb and we decided to end our trip with a night in Bar Harbor. We've stayed in this hotel twice before in previous years and it's been nicely renovated since. We love that it is dog friendly and within walking distance from downtown Bar Harbor restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. “This was our first stay at a b&b, Chris & the staff at sand bar cottage made it perfect from start to finish. Location is perfect and walkable to anything in town.
