Family Christmas Gathering 2023

Nice house, very large rooms! Lovely screened porch and deck but it was too cold to use them. We had plenty of seating space for meals and the teens liked the media room and the ping pong table. Convenient location.

Excellent!

Home was exactly as depicted. Great amenities. Shuttle available to beach and pool. Elderly father had a first floor room and bath. Lots of games and gaming tables along with a home theater room. A lovely home which easily accommodated all 18 of us. The second fridge in the garage was a big plus as was the large oven for prepping meals for a large group. Keep this one on your list.

Women's Retreat. The house needs a good cleaning!

The house is beautiful. I am HUGE on reviews so I decided to take a chance on the ONE listed. The owner was very responsive and polite but issues still need attention. The bed description is not correct. It says #7 is a Trundle with 2 twins but it is only a twin with a trundle. The pull-out Queen is in the Den not the common area as I was told. Upon entering the garage there was a strong "mold" smell and the house smelled of "stale" air. There were visible ants crawling the walls in the corner of the dining room where the trash can is as well as on the counter adjoining the dining area. There were ant traps which shows they were aware but never told me. We couldn't use that entire kitchen counter. Thank God, I travel with RAID! The lack of cleanliness of the kitchen & bathrooms was a problem. There was thick dust on the island, visible crumbs on the hood of the stove & a dirty oven, especially the doors. The owner suggested that I run the self-cleaning feature. That should have been done by someone else, not the paying customer who didn't make the mess. We had to wipe everything down before unpacking including lysoling to rid the smell. The master bath had a huge ball of hair in the shower & the handle came off. The single bath on the 1st floor also had hair in the shower. We weren't able to watch movies in the theatre room. Instructions weren't clear and the grill did not work. No offer for service recovery. The owner should do a thorough inspection. It seems long overdue.
