Beautiful House Right Off the Golf Course

Loved the back porch and new gas grill. Very cosy and comfortable beds, nicely decorated, definitely recommend!

Bear Trap Dunes

This is our third year staying at Bear Trap Dunes and we have loved the area each time. The homes we rented have been beautiful. We'll be back again next year!

June 2025 vacation

Property needs a little updating, maybe new furniture, instructions for TV and remotes with correct tv. Had to call VACASA everyday about AC, tv’s, toilets clogging, poor responses. Good kitchen supplies. Location great, bikes great, great grill. Overall our stay was wonderful even with these issues.

Lovely home in Bear Trap Dunes.

Overall lovely spacious home. The screened porch, neighborhood, and overall surroundings are gorgeous. We had a group of 8 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room. The twin mattresses were extremely uncomfortable as was the bunk bed so just be prepared if you are a picky sleeper. Being extra paper goods and garbage bags as there was not enough to accommodate a large group for the 3 days we were there. But overall a wonderful stay!!

Summer kickoff

Perfect location, beautiful neighborhood and quiet. House has perfect layout for large family. Before heavy summer use, remove dust from vents and ceiling fans. Add instructions for TV'S and change thermostat program from heat to cool. Gorgeous house, well stocked kitchen and comfortable MBR bed. Thank you.

Overall the location , amenities, and surrounds were great. The furniture could use some updating. Furniture was very stained, carpets were very dirty. Some family members said the mattresses were uncomfortable.Overall cleaning could be better and a little TLC.The house itself was nice, including the layout and very spacious. Loved the screened porch. management was very responsive to meeting a need for a working can opener. They brought one right to house. they were always in touch throughout stay

Bad Matresses

The twin mattresses in this house are terrible. They need to be replaced. Because of this, we deserve a refund for one bedroom as one of the guests had to sleep on the living room couch. This is unacceptable treatment for a paying guest.

Soiled towels and sheets from previous renters left on porch by Housekeeping Not picked up so on Thursday I called to have them removed and they were. Property was fine except mattresses on bunk beds and couch pullout mattress were very uncomfortable

Great stay

Lovely home. Nice layout, well furnished. Look forward to coming back. Only issue we had and which has already been brought to owner’s attention was the condition of the bunk bed mattresses. Hard springs, no cushioning. Despite this we really enjoyed our stay.

Mostly a great place

We had plenty of room for my 3 grandkids 5 and under and my daughter and son-in-law. I liked that the place had 2 "master" bedrooms with big closets and lots of bathrooms. The living room was full of beautiful windows and the screen porch and view was magnificent. We did enjoy our stay a lot. There were a couple of problems with the place. The ice maker was not working - although a bag of ice was left for us. The grill also did not work. In my room the ceiling fan blades were full of dust and one of the rugs was very filthy. I guess the most disgusting problem was that the kitchen counter was overrun by ants. I hate to mention all this because we did have a great time. The shuttle to the beach was convenient and we liked the resort facilities - especially the pool. There were lots of toys and games for the kids too. It seems like the problems could have been fixed easily. The dining furniture had seen very hard wear - probably by earlier renters. So with a few minor fixes, the place could have been a superior rental.

Overall acceptable but needs several updates

Several beds and bedding need to be replaced. Tvs are small and outdated. The BBQ was filthy with several inches of debris that needed cleaning before use. The location was very nice and the location just needs some simple upgrades to be nicer

Overall this is a nice property. We gave it 4 stars because it was not as clean as it should have been when we arrived (especially in the kitchen & powder room) and some general maintenance is needed. Location and resort community is nice.

Plenty of room

Plenty of room in this home. Loved the outside screened in deck and open deck area. Quiet community, perfect for families and close to everything. The sofas and bunk bed need to be replaced. The sofas have no support, very uncomfortable to sit on and the double bunk bed cardboard bottom makes noise with every move. We put the mattresses on the floor.

Great home that is well furnished on the golf course.

This home exceeded our expectations! It is an end unit clean, very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We played golf, went to the beach, biked the community, relaxed and enjoyed the entire experience.
