"Property is well cared for and rooms very attractive and comfortable. The beach is directly across the street from the hotel, and the hotel provides chairs, towels, and an umbrella. We spent several days going to the rooftop bar and pool after a full day at the beach. It’s well located for walking around central Oceanside, with a number of bars and good food just a block or two away. The only thing I wish we knew before the last 2 days was about the O’side Circuit, an inexpensive ride share ($3 for 1 person, $6 for 2 or more). We had a couple of small issues at the hotel and the staff was all over them with an apology and a smile. I highly recommend this property!"

"We used to go there 55 years ago, when there was just small bungalows close to the ocean, we were 25 years old and just married. Everything looks as beautiful as was then, nice memories."

"I was expecting something worse, but the room inside was big and comfortable. We had so much space with two king beds and a couch. Every day room was cleaned and coffee for breakfast was really good . We enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the stuff for a comfortable vacation. "

"A friend and I went to Oceanside for a concert at the new Frontwave Arena and didn’t want to drive back to Orange County after the show so we booked a room at the Oceanside Inn and Suites. We just wanted a clean and affordable place to stay where we didn’t need a car since we opted to take the train. The previous reviews were mixed with some saying to run away from this hotel to 5 stars. We took our chances and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. It is definitely a little older, yet full of charm. The owners are amazing and very helpful. We arrived a little early but the owners not only let us check-in, they let us choose our room! Our room had a small living room area, a small kitchen area with a microwave and a bedroom with a partition between the two beds so each of us had a little privacy. Despite a little bit of wear and tear as to be expected with an older property if was very clean. If you’re looking for the Four Seasons this isn’t it however the owners were so warm and welcoming we sure felt like we were staying at one! "
