Kind hosts, comfortable stay
We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The night stars were beautiful. We loved that the dogs would greet us every morning as soon as we opened the door. The eggs were delicious, and the hosts were wonderful. If you're looking for a rustic but comfortable place to get away. This is it. My son is already asking when we can go back! Thank you!

Close to birding area
The carport was nice to have in a New Mexico setting. The house was very clean and spacious. We went to go birding and the location worked well for us

Remote dog friendly cabin
Clean and dog friendly. Nice remote location for some mental decompression. Close enough to Socorro if you need something. Wifi was great, bandwidth might be a little low for streaming, but to be expected if you're further out of town. Close to a lot of outdoor spaces to go visit and explore. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing...I mean AMAZING SUNRISE here
I have never had the experience of being IN a sunrise or sunset until we stayed here. It was one of the most amazing things. We enjoyed the cows, dogs and rural setting...very quiet. We also loved being able to take our pets along with us.

We liked the spacious rooms and they were spotless. Washer& dryer were a great convenience and worked very well. Additional blankets were needed on the cold night we stayed. We couldn’t adjust to abandoned buildings, vehicles and trailers in Mountainair and around the cabin.

Comfortable and safe
Our stay was short. We felt comfortable and safe. The property was clean,cute, and had everything you needed. Also we loved the fresh eggs provided by Carol. Carol was a wonderful host. Would stay there again .

Out of the way, nice stay.
We enjoyed staying here and using it as a base to explore central NM. The host took care to ensure guests have everything needed to be comfortable. While convenient to several interesting sites, it is not a destination in itself.

Definitely off the beaten path. Nice little place to stay with your furry friends. All the amenities were nice to have. Loved that we had fresh eggs to use.

Great Cabin
