My room was in a weird little annex next to the Motel 6. Everything was surface clean I’d say, but there were a few small hairs in the bathroom sink. All of the furniture is very outdated and has just kind of a dingy/dirty appearance. Overall not terrible but certainly not worth $92/night ($82 plus $10 pet fee). I did like that the entire parking lot was very well lit and each key entry door felt secure.

Basic Short Term Shelter

We did not receive the king bed suite on ground floor as reserved. Man at desk said they were all taken but we could have one on the 2nd floor. (What's the point of reserving what you want if you aren't going to get it?). Since there isn’t an elevator, my disabled husband could not climb stairs and we had to take the cheaper ground floor room which was not a suite but a basic room. There wasn't any offer to discount the room we were given. It took the man at the desk a long time to check us in. And it seemed like he was stuggling to figure out the check in process. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had exactly 2 paper thin hand towels, 2 wash cloths and 2 tiny bars of soap. No shampoo, no hair dryer, no hook on the back of the door to hang wet towels. Exterior door had a two inch gap from the concrete walkway and parking lot, which brought in lots of construction noise and dust (maybe other things as well). Bed was clean and comfortable. I asked the front desk for a bandaid when my husband cut himself and they didn’t have one. The staff are not particularly welcoming or friendly. This is a former Motel 6 property in the early stages of renovation by the new owners. We can all overlook renovations and repairs if the staff are kind and accomodating, but the concept of hospitality escapes the staff at this time. This property is "very basic short term shelter from the elements", and just a notch above camping.

Unclean and stale old cigarettes

I gave this hotel a chance as we were driving through on a family trip. The reviews seemed like this was going to be a good place to stop, so I actually cancelled another reservation to stay here. The staff seemed friendly, but the room wreaked of stale, old cigarettes, and the “pull out couch” was filthy with no linens. I understand that this was a Motel 6 stay, so my expectations weren’t high… but this, this was disappointing especially for $100.
