"As always, super clean and modern. Rooms are functional and mattresses true western-style (iykyk :-) ) Great location next to train station (not noisy at all - no trains at night?) with bus services or fairly short drive to explore the Mt. Aso area. Restaurants and Lawsons in walking distance."

"Clean and spacious room with excellent mountain view. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Hot spring baths were of good condition. Close to attractions, transports and lot of dining options. Parking was free and convenient. The main minor issue was that the door close between 12 midnight and 6am. Whoever like to stay late outside would better be aware of this. However, these was not much to do after midnight in that area, so it is not that bad."

"I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was relaxing and staff were friendly and welcoming. When I departed on April 9, I realized that I had forgotten my watch at the hotel. Upon calling the hotel, the front desk gentleman drove his motorbike to quickly return it to me at the station. I am beyond thankful for his hospitality and am very appreciative of his kind and quick response. He made our trip extra special."
