"Our family had an excellent stay here. The location cannot be beat - this hotel is just steps from the public beach access, multiple restaurants, the bus stop (free service to downtown Newport during the summer), and a short walk to the beautiful Cliff Walk. The hotel is well maintained and clean, with an indoor pool and sun deck with views of the sea. Highly recommend. "
"Such a great stay at the Mill Street Inn. Beautiful studio suite with comfortable bed and nice sitting area. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts. Staff was exceptional and the free sangria was a nice touch. Cannot beat the location being 1 block from all the wharf action and all the Newport shops. We will be back. I highly recommend the Mill Street Inn. Do not forget to check out the root top. Nice place to relax, drink or eat."
"Great location, very easy to get to shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to free public transportation for Cliff Walking. So convenient. Room was a little dated and small. Beds were hard, wouldn’t have wanted to sleep on it more than one night. Loved the fire pits on the marina. Breakfast was good and pretty setting, and your receive $15 voucher at check in. We had a Harbor view room and it was very pretty!"
"I took my daughter and her friend to Newport for a couple days to get away. I like the fact that this hotel had the beach right across the street and was close to the shopping in Newport. The hot tub wasn’t working on the rooftop deck, but that was fine. The elevator also was being repaired on day two of our stay and was out of commission until we left. We did get a text message asking if we would need help with our bags when we left which we didn’t need, but it was nice to know that it was an option if we did need it. I would definitely stay here again."
"We absolutely love this hotel! Got a little confusing at pool on Saturday due to crowds. It got resolved quickly.
The shuttle service to town is wonderful! We will be back again! "
