"The staff were very friendly, the rooms are renovated and very clean. Conveniently located beside the mall and not a long drive to the beach."

"A warm greeting and quick check in after a long drive were very welcome. The hotel is clean and well maintained, staff were very friendly. There is ample parking. Hotel is one block off Main St (hwy) East walking distance for dinner or Dairy Queen for a sweet treat to help cool down. The room was very clean with comfy bed and good pillows. Good pressure and nice hot water in the shower too. Couldn't hear a prep from above or the neighbours or the hallway. However, there is some patio furniture outside not far from our room and there were people sitting outside talking VERY loudly until almost midnight. Would have been a five star review it weren't for managing the guests outside on the property. Overall the Coast Oliver is a good solid stay, great location, well maintained, friendly staff. Oh and the on-room coffee is very good."

"It really could do with a renovation, feels dated & in need of a refresh. Staff were pleasant enough. It was lovely having a lake view room & beach access was great. The beds & pillows were comfy. Parking could be a challenge on weekends but no problems on weekdays."
