「Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way.
On a side note, I initially just wanted to drop my bags off in morning, but to my surprise, the owner allowed me to check-in early!
Highly recommended stay.

「Amazing hostel! Clean, nice staff, and very big.
Even though, it's S hour away from city, it's really close to miyajima station.
Plus, they have free tour to rabbit island, yamaguchi 's famous bridge, etc.」

Some things to note:
- There’s a shop across the street (run by an old sweet couple) selling drinks and snacks
- The stairs going up to the rooms are very steep so watch out if you have mobility challenges
- I was greeted my deer the next morning, not sure if this is normal but it was a nice way to top off my stay
