"We wanted to find a place near the lake shore with quick access to shops, restaurants and most importantly, good hiking trails. This was a very nice option for all of those things. There was a bit more road noise than we would have like from the nearby bridge, but the condo was very comfortable and worked well for out retreat. "

"This was our first trip to Lake Michigan, and we’ll definitely be back! The house was clean, fully stocked with supplies, and the house manager answered our questions right away. Harbor Village where the home is located was amazing! Quick walk to the outdoor or indoor pool which we used daily. Half mile walk to the beach! So convenient to get where we wanted all week. "Look no farther if you want a great place to staty with your pup. The condo is centrally located to parks and restaurants in Manistee within a mile or two, and walking to the beach was easy. Kathleen was so kind, thought of everything, and even gave us advice for pet friendly areas and where to visit for walks, and we loved St. Ambrose. Thanks for such a welcoming stay. "My family has been visiting the area for almost 20 years and we faithfully return to the Captain’s Quarters. They provide clean, comfortable, convenient accommodations that are central to all Up North attractions. The elevator to the parking garage is great for older folks. The kitchen and bedrooms have everything you’ll need. The large screen TV and fireplace make rainy days comfy. This place is a gem!"

"Very nicely decorated unit that has the essentials. The bed and pillows were comfy. Very nice porch with a bistro table to have your morning coffee at over looking Man Made Lake. Quiet area. The unit does need a bit of maintenance; porch door difficult to close, screen door needs the track cleaned to close easier, the bedroom door needs to be planed (it does not close and is loud). The bedroom door did wake up my family. Great location though! "

"This is a small cute place. Too small for 4 adult men but it worked. The bed mattress in the master felt a bit uncomfortable but the price was pretty low too. The renter messaged me multiple times about partys and quiet time before we got there so maybe they have had issues in the past. But I am not used to that. Overall a good experience."
