While this condo is beautiful/spacious/great view, it did not outweigh problems we had! The property manager was helpful at first BUT with each problem became less helpful and resorted to being rude and outright lying about our complaints/conversations. I would not stay at ANY property she managed, again. We've been to OB several times and this is BY FAR the most trouble we've had.
Our room was very dirty, which was well-documented with multiple pictures/emails to the PM. There was urine/body hair left on the bathmat in one room, body hair in ALL of the showers/tubs , dried urine splatters on the bottom of two of the bathroom doors, mold in showers/tubs, dust balls everywhere, mold in the ice maker, food under the dining table, the washer couldn't be used due to a loud scraping sound and we were afraid we'd get charged if it broke while we were using it...The HVAC was a joke. It took three days for the manager to deal with it and 4 technicians to convince her the thermostats needed replaced. At one point, she told us nothing was wrong and to just "close the curtains" to block the sun if it was too hot. The temp would flux 10-15 degrees no matter what the temp was set at. We were up messing with it all hours of the night and were either freezing or burning up. We tried just shutting it off but it would turn back on all by itself!! The maintenance manager of the building was rude and refused to wear a mask into the condo and left without fixing thermostat (when we have high-risk people in our group...which is why we chose this condo due to the separate entrance and no need for the elevator). Several of our group have asthma and/or are allergic to mold and got sick while there. Due to covid we couldn't leave to go somewhere else while sick so we were stuck there.
The property manager did send the cleaning crew back and, after two days of asking, refunded cleaning fee. They didn't clean all of the things, including the soiled/hairy bathmat..I washed it myself (which is when we discovered the washer wasn't working right) and cleaned the doors myself. I was told by Julia that "I must not have mentioned it to the maintenance man". I told her I did but he said to talk to her. When I told her we'd like to leave and wanted a refund of only HALF of our stay she said "no...she wouldn't refund us anything, especially if we left early". She added that I could have just set the soiled bathmat aside and stated "most condos don't even have bathmats"!
