The unit itself was nice. The location is great. The problem is with Southern Vacation Rentals, the property management company, and the things you don't find out until after you book on Expedia. That's when you find out everything is as cheap and bare minimum as possible. The cupboards are barren. I mean down to no salt and pepper, no coffee filters, not even an old sugar packet. There are no blankets or beach towels. No laundry detergent or basket. There's a mini hotel soap and thankfully two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. There was a single pack of dishwasher detergent which had to be saved for the last day. There was one kitchen towel and no dish strainer, so the lonely towel was being used as a dish rack the whole time.
This could have been something I didn't complain about, but the management company sent a text asking if they exceeded expectations. When I told them they did not, the sent me screenshots from the guest portal saying, well we told you to bring these things. Which might be fine of you're a local, but not at all practical if you're flying.
I would stay in the building again, but not in a unit managed by Southern Vacation Rentals.
