Disappointed Condo Experience -Not as Advertised or Expected
We recently stayed in this condo for a much-needed getaway, and while we truly appreciated the break and the time together, the condition of the unit itself was extremely disappointing and not at all what was portrayed online.The moment we walked in, we were hit with a strong musty, moldy smell. The unit was very outdated, with numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues that made it feel neglected and uncomfortable. There was visible mold in both bathroom showers, and the popcorn ceiling was literally peeling and falling off in several areas. Even more disturbing, we noticed a blood stain on the hallway wall, and trash left under one of the beds from previous guests — a clear sign that the cleaning had not been thorough.The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the kitchen was barely stocked with essentials. The few pots and pans provided were in terrible condition and burnt everything we attempted to cook. The wall outlets were loose, making it difficult (and concerning) to plug in electronics, and many areas of the wall had putty patches that were never painted over, giving the place a very unfinished and uncared-for look. The carpet was old, stained, and felt dirty underfoot. On top of all that, the pipes in the ceiling made loud, disruptive noises throughout our stay.
