Fisherman's Delight in Waldport! Dog Friendly! Hot tub!

"The place is great. Make sure to read all the instructions before going. I didn't do that ahead of time and had many questions because of it :) The property was nice. The dogs didn't want to leave because they had so much room to run and play outside. I think the double bed was supposed to have 2 people. I used the couch in the renovated garage, but it was very hard. The couch inside the house was really nice and would be a fine place to sleep though. The hot tub was ready to go and easy to access. The spare space heater was not working but the heater in the garage worked very well, heating the entire garage so we didn't end up needing it. We needed to push the BBQ start button several times to get it to fire up, and it worked great. The host was amazing. We had several questions at check-in and had to call after hours. They got to us pretty quickly and were quick at texting for all questions we had throughout the stay. Most of those questions were already answered in the check in reading but I failed to read that in a timely manner. They were still gracious. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There is a trail to the beach on the bay and that was a nice surprise for us :)"

"The Retreat was filthy. I am very glad I brought an extra set of sheets and a blanket because the condition of the rental was unacceptable. There were spiders and bugs everywhere — even in the bed and sheets. We killed multiple bugs the first night alone.The second night, we moved a few things around so we could sweep and clean, and found even more bugs underneath. It was extremely disappointing and made the stay very uncomfortable. If we had not been there for our annual family reunion, I honestly would have left the next day.The Cottage was slightly better, but not by much. Whoever is responsible for cleaning and maintaining these rentals is not doing an acceptable job. The location was honestly the only positive part of our stay, and by the end of the trip I was simply happy to go home."

"Very nice place! Definitely recommend. Often we find ourselves cleaning vacation rentals upon arrival—seldom are the sheets washed or dishes really clean—however this rental was very tidy and we didn’t have to do a thing. Check-in was a breeze and the house was very well appointed with everything one could need. We should have explored the property more—there were even tools available for clamming (we found them on the last day—our bad). They also provided family games, extra blankets, kitchen appliances and a Kurig (plus grounds), phone chargers, ping pong table, hot tub, bbq, and all manner of other conveniences. Super close to the beach, grocery store, and there’s also mini golf across the road! "

"We loved everything about the house! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!! The check in time is rather late. We did get a text notifying us that the house was ready and we could check in early. However, by that time it was too late to change travel plans. Overall, very pleased!"
