「Everything couldn't have been more perfect! The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! 」

「This is one of the most stocked kitchens of a rental I've ever experienced. My husband and I enjoy cooking when away and were very pleased to have access to all the kitchen tools. The knives were actually sharp which has never been the case. We bought fresh lobsters in town and did our own lobster rolls which was possible due to the stocked kitchen. 「This chalet was perfect for our stay on Mt Desert. Spectacular views. Lots of room to spread out. Away from the crowds, but still a quick drive into Bar Harbor.
