Fun holiday
We had a lovely holiday in Kens villa, location was great for parks and attractions, community was quiet, restful and safe. Lovely view from the pool of the lake, watched all the different birds coming and going while the sun set over the trees. Villa would benefit from a little touch up and repair but nothing that spoiled our stay. Communication from Ken and Michael was great.

Can’t wait to stay again. Location is fantastic!
Firstly thank you Ken for allowing us to use your house for our vacation. House is exactly as is in the photos very well represented. The house is in a fabulous gated neighbourhood the area of lake Berkeley is honestly beautiful with 2 community pools tennis courts right on our back yard. a lovely lake with foot path to walk around our kids loved the playground which is literally less than a minute from the house. The house inside was perfect for us 3 spacious bedrooms the rooms were plenty big enough for all of us the pool was lovely the outside lanai area was well kept no bugs or dirt etc. To be honest the only thing I could say was maybe the fridge could be updated was just a little old and dated and carpets could of been a little cleaner. but other than that everything was fabulous would highly recommend this property and would very much look forward to stay there again. Thanks Ken and family.

Easy, convenient, nice stay
Everything went very well. House and pool were nice, good location. Communication with Ken was great including slightly early check in. No complaints about the house just a couple of tips. Grab some charcoal if you want to use the grill. Grab some dish soap if you just want to wash a few dishes instead of running the dishwasher. One thing that could need updating is the stove burners are hard to use because they don't fit in the pans. My wife and kids and I had a great time and enjoyed the house and pool.

Great house for a Christmas visit
The property was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed the pool and the neighborhood. The view from the back patio was beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside.

The Petersons Honeymoon Get away
We got there before 4 pm and Mr Ken gave us the permission to go in. We enjoyed our wonderful stay. Everything was wonderful. The internet wasn’t working and Mr Ken made sure it got straight and also made sure someone checked to make sure it stayed working . We had some neighbors that had a late pool party every night though, but we dealt with it, after all they were on vacation to i guess. 😁 But we will go again next year. Thanks Mr Ken

Couple of friends taking a break
Enjoying a few days at the Mecum auction. We don't like big hotels/cheap motels so have used VRBO multiple times, the last two at Lake Berkley properties. This latest stay was perfect; clean, safe, and affordable.

Great Community & Host
The home is as pictured and is a part of Lake Berkley, which has a beautiful lake and walking path, along with tennis courts, basketball and a community pool. We used the walking path twice daily and loved the tranquility and safety of the neighborhood. Michael was a wonderful host to work with - responding promptly. The pool area and backyard is gorgeous, looks out over a lake and was well heated for our stay. The home is as pictured and could use some furniture updating, but was clean and great for our stay.

Loved this place! I’m a nature person and I loved the conservation area in the back! Waking up and seeing a mom and her ducklings was so perfect! It was a really cute house. It has a separate room literally where you can sit and enjoy a book in peace and I LOVED that. So great!

Great property! Fabulous location, clean and comfortable.

This is a lovely holiday home. Cleanliness was good however it is long overdue some decorative TLC. What really lets this property down though is the quality of the dishes, glassware and cutlery, they were very poor.

Wonderful Lake Berkeley Resort
Perfect location in the Resort with a wonderful view from the pool area. We were informed by the owner that the spa wasn't working, which was a disappointment. Everything in the house was very clean but some of the kitchen equipment was missing, no tin opener no kitchen scissors no paper towels, dishwasher and washing machine starter packs, I did report this to the management company before I left. There was also a broken screen panel in the pool door which was not fixed by the owner even after I phoned to report it, so flies and other insects got into the pool area. As soon as I reported it again this time I to the Management Company it was mended the very next day. Overall it was a very nice property and I would definitely stay here again in the future

Amazing stay!
Ken is amazing with making sure you have everything you need for your stay! The home is beautiful and equipped with everything you may need after long days at the parks. My kids loved swimming in the pool after long hot days at the parks. My boy also enjoyed the convenience of having the basketball area nearby. We will definitely be staying here again!

I am glad Tanna had a great stay. I do not advertise this, but the home is a short walk to a half-court basketball court and a beautiful tennis court.

The house was lovely and clean! Me and the family had such a great time, it felt like we were right at home! I have no words to describe the generosity of the owner, our flight was cancelled and he was able to accommodate us until we fixed the situation. Would definitely consider booking again!

Blinds in living room are inoperable and look terrible. Mold on caulking on kitchen sink top. Mold on master bath shower curtain and window in shower. Nasty stained drapery near blinds in master bedroom. There is 1/4 inch opening around front door - letting in pests. Ants in master bath. Rug in living room under coffee table torn. To open garage door one must go inside-can not be locked on outside. No light in pool. Pool dirty.

The first day the home was open after I received this review, the owners of my management company were at the home. Apparently, the guests before Nancy were hard on the home. Weatherstripping on the door needed replacing and the cords for the vertical blinds in the great room were very tangled. The repairman has fixed both of these, and the home had a deep clean as needed. I appreciate reviews like this to draw attention to a new problem that needs correction. The home is back in good repair, ready for our next guest. Ken, owner

The house was perfect, the pictures were on point. We had some very minor issues which were remedied immediately by Ken. The pool was the perfect temperature. It felt very secure with the 24/7 gate house. The lake path was so nice! Could use a few very minor mechanical upgrades but owner was all over it. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

We flew to Orlando for a family vacation and Disney trip. The location of this house was great / no more than 20 min to Disney every day and close to shopping & eating. It’s very clean, the pool was a huge hit. Some necessities were missing but the owners help / communication was great. Would def stay again.

Convenient, comfortable home
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Home was convenient to the activities we had planned for our trip. Host was very helpful and communicative. Some older pillows/towels could be replaced. Double bed seemed a bit soft in the middle, but others ok. Neighborhood is quiet, and we enjoyed walking to the lake and watching the birds roost on the island. We would book again.

My family and I were originally from Florida and moved out of state. Every year we tried to take a vacation back and stay somewhere new. The host, Ken, was by far the best when it came to communication and remedy of anything we had a concern about or information needed. He was very understanding and quick with his responses. Property was cleaned well. We had a few issues during our stay but communication was good and they were taken care of in a timely manner. The bed in master bedroom was broken and sagged quite a bit. Would like to see this fixed for future guests. Overall I did like it and would stay again.

Anonymous stayed nine nights and had a good trip. When the mattress with the broken springs were discovered, both were replaced with a high grade set 2/9/2022. All is well now.

Fun secure and great location
We didn’t get to spend much time on the property because we were so busy with everything to do in the area. Conveniently located to everything Orlando and surrounding areas have to offer. Pros- heated pool, plenty of space, plenty of the necessities for the first day when you are tired and don’t want to have to go to the store. (LOVED having coffee on hand) Owner was great to work with and very pleasant. Cons- couches and mattresses are in need up updating. They are all broken down and sag causing a lot of stiffness and soreness after sitting/sleeping on them. I wish the hot tub worked but it was still nice to have the benches to sit on. Also, the little fan in the master bedroom closet was very dirty so I cleaned it, plugged it in and turned the switch to on, only to discover it didn’t work. No biggie. We made due. Would definitely stay here again as long as the mattresses were replaced.

It was ok.
The property was not clean prior to our arrival. I contacted Ken and he was able to send cleaners over within an hour. He was very responsive. The cleaners were great to come to a new house at the last minute, but the house could use a deeper cleaning more regularly as well. Because of the initial issue, I had a hard time staying there and felt hyper sensitive to everything as far as cleanliness goes. I was given a refund for cleaning for the inconvenience and appreciate that. Having a private pool, washer and dryer, close to Walmart, and being in a gated community were great perks. Our vacation was Dec 17-23. We initially were driving down with stops there and back in ATL and had reserved hotels in ATL for Dec 17-19 and 23-24. Our dates for this house were Dec 19-23. When we decided to fly last minute instead, I had to book 2 other hotels in Orlando area since this house was booked up. We also had a canceled flight on the way home so had to find a hotel for Dec 24 unexpectedly as well. Out of the 4 places we stayed while there, this was my least favorite with cleanliness and upgrades. I probably would not return, but I wouldn't count it out either if I was in a pinch.

Kiauna arrived and the home was not cleaned. When she made the reservation, the cleaning company was notified, but somehow missed this reservation. All guests have my cell phone. Kiauna immediately called me and I called the management and cleaning companies. The home was cleaned in two hours. The management company apologized to Kauna and me. I made a sincere apology to Kiauna and a generous refund for the inconvenience. I am glad Kiauna enjoyed the private pool, full size washer and dryer, convenient Walmart and very secure gated community. Read my other reviews This was a mistake that will not happen again. We are proud of our model pool home. Ken, owner

Amazing home and pool!
We were in the area for a Disney vacation, we had already stayed at a Disney hotel in our last visit to Disney but this time my oldest wanted to have easy access to a pool so I looked into renting a house with a pool. My daughters loved the pool, the house was amazing, the washer and dryer were an amazing perk. The closeness to stores and restaurants was amazing as well. We would definitely stay in the same house if we return for another Disney vacation.

As we’re get ready to leave back to Illinois Just a few things there were NO laundry Soap, Paper Towels , Garbage Bags, but there was 3 rolls of toilet paper. So I purchased all of the above and I left if that is ok The dishes-skillet can be replaced with stainless steel -Replace Blender- The master Bedroom Bathroom door window is open no way to lock it The remote that turns the Tv on and off the back will not stay on As for the sheets and towels we put them in the Laundry Room So Cleaning crew washed them. We wiped cleaned all we touched Overall The Home was beautiful-spaces- and enough for my family and when we come back if your home is available we will like to stay here again . Thanks Mrs Simmons Will definitely recommend the home
