AAU Volleyball Tournament Stay

We had another great week at the Vista Cay resort. This was the first year in this unit but it was great and met all our expectations. Will definitely consider this unit again next year.

Clean and close to the parks. The place is very roomy and has bunk beds the kids loved. The last day I was able to extend my stay to 6 pm for a small charge with a Press of a button. Seemless and easy. Great experience

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and great location to the parks. The new pool was nice as well. It could use more kitchen supplies. Our main complaint was the thermostat not being allows to go below 75. It was very warm and uncomfortable. It was reading 78. If that could be fixed the stay would have been perfect.

Poorly Managed stay - Disappointing Experience, cleanliness issues!

We had high hopes for this stay, but this is the review I wish someone would have left before I booked this unit. Our experience fell well short of expectations. The unit was not ready at the advertised check-in time, and when were were finally allowed in, it was still visibly unclean. The cleaning crew arrived after checking and appeared rushed, leaving behind multiple unresolved issues. Throughout our stay, we encountered problems ranging from missing basic supplies (including no toilet paper in one bathroom—no starter on day 1 right when we got in) to a non-functional living room TV. Several requests had to be repeated before reviving a response for resolution — canned AI responses were quick reminding us what a “starter set” of toilet paper was. Communication was vague. For the price point, we expected better attention to detail and customer care. To their credit, some items were eventually addressed - towels were delivered, and the tv was fixed. However, the overall condition of the unit (worn, past due for an update, kitchen lacking, & dirty) and the lack of proactive management made for a frustrating experience. We tried multiple times to resolve the situation privately and fairly, but the process has been long and unsatisfying, with only a very minimal refund offer extended well after our trip ended. This property may have potential, but the lack of timely service, cleanliness, and professional management made for a disappointing and avoidable experience.
