Vacation home

We had a great time staying at one of your home. My whole family had their own private room, we got to enjoy the hot tub and grill. The only down side was the traffic in the area, but over all everything was nice.

Poor cookware, broken furniture , dishwasher leaked, barstool broken, screen torn and mold on wall in pool area , took 3 days to get propane , carpets need cleaned replaced !

Loved the house

We really enjoyed our time at this house. When we got there the BBQ grill was locked and had no propane. It took forever to get in touch with anyone to get all of it working. Also, dryer didn’t work and also took forever to get in touch with someone to get that all working. I wish it was easier to get in touch with someone about issues because I spent the majority of the first 2 days trying to reach them

Impossible journey

The house has major issues. It seems to have construction issues: doors make noise like a hunted house when you open or close them, some doors won't lock. On the second floor, many spots make noise when you step on them, some of the mattresses are in bad shape, provoking bad sleep and lower back pain, and the temperature of the house is too hot even when we arrive at the house after a long day when the house was closed. Some rooms do not receive enough air or anything at all, electricity on some parts of the house is not available (I used an extension cord to get service), a kitchen breaker fails if you use the microwave and a toaster machine at the same time. On the second floor, the first room on your right, there is some water dropping into the cabinet, etc. It was unacceptable and unprofessional that I had to complain numerous times about the issues and on the last day someone showed up to clean the filters on the AC. This service did not fix the temperature problem at all. And it is very sad that some of my guests leave early (and not earlier because of the busy season) caused by discomfort (on top of the trips to the airport interrupting my vacation schedule). In other words, I planned a family vacation and this place turned it into a nightmare. I don't get many times in life where I can place my family in one spot and what a bad experience we had. Very Disappointed

Upon arrival the home was filthy. The walls have stuff all over them, large patched spots in drywall, rug in living room had large chips off broken things on it (clearly not vacuumed) carpet is stained, dishwasher broken (leaks out onto the kitchen floor), hair all over bathroom floors and in a tub we never used. Not to mention in one of the bedrooms the cable box was not plugged in, when I went to look to plug it in there was someone’s dirty sock sitting on the dresser by the tv that the cleaning people over looked. There’s a bike lock on the grill and you are unable to use it. There was zero running water. Guess this is why the house wasn’t really even attempted to be cleaned because they had the water shut off? After a 14 hour car ride it would be nice to use the bathroom, wash hands and shower. We contacted the customer service and the rep stated there was a ticket for the water already but she would put a new one in (odd since we just arrived) They sent someone over later on to turn water on from outside. Then there was no hot water (maybe why there was a ticket in). Contacted customer service and they put a ticket in. No one showed up then contacted them next day and then an additional time to get someone over and he could not get the hot water heater to light. Maintenance stated someone else would be coming to look at it. No one showed, called back a plumber was suppose to be coming, never came. We had no hot water at all for the rest of the stay. I have been in constant contact with the reps over our experience and to say they are attempting to make it right is an understatement. Basically playing phone tag to get a solution. An attempt of refund if $100 then $300 and I paid over $1200 for the stay, so I’m not seeing that as acceptable. We were in town for a two day cheer comp and not being able to shower is completely ridiculous, our complete booking was Friday to Tuesday. They offered no amenities to fix or accommodate while we was there. Used my planet fitness pass to take my family to shower. I’d never use this company again and anyone looking to book this particular property should stay elsewhere.

Nice and relaxing stay for a laid back crowd!

This property has everything you need for a laid back crowd. The resort amenities are nice as well. However, there were a few issues we experienced: the dishwasher did not wash the dishes well and we had to hand-wash many; the dryer does not work - we dried one load of clothes 3 times to get them half way dried; the code to the clubhouse did not work, but another resident/guest assisted us. Also, the clubhouse’s amenities are NOT available all day; times vary according to what you want to use (water slide 5pm, pool 9pm, and fitness center 11pm). You may also have issues getting in because they limit the amount of people inside (probably due to COVID regulations), but we enjoyed our private pool throughout the stay. It even had a light for night swimming!

Decent

This was our second time staying at this exact house at Solterra resort Davenport. The resort is always safe, the communal pool is fun for the kids. The pool restaurants was very under staffed with 1 person tasking orders and making food and drinks. They should really consider increasing staff as it was a 45 minute wait. This specific house we stayed at in 2019 and was clean and all amenities were great. We stayed again March 2022 and the property needs improvements. Dishwasher needs fixing, carpets should be cleaned, dryer doesn’t dry and grill was locked for upon our arrival and it took 2 days for us to receive the lock code.

Would totally return!

We had a great family vacation at this property! Plenty of space and rooms and pictures accurately depicted the property. Having the private pool was a plus although we should have requested it be heated because it was super cold and only fun during the peak hours of sun in December. Having the option to go to the water park at the resort only a few blocks away was a huge plus. The kids loved it! One thing I may suggest is to communicate that the entry to the unit is a “keypad” code at the front door, not a “lockbox” which was slightly confusing because the lockbox hasn’t been removed and obviously won’t have a key in it. Also, when we arrived there was still trash in the front bin which could have suggested we left trash when we departed because apparently the previous guest left it there unbagged so it doesn’t get removed. The dryer may need a repair as well. Overall the property was great! Thank you. Jeff

Reset, Relax, and Explore

This was a GREAT stay! Very well kept property. The house was big enough to accommodate the entire family of 8. The pool at the house and the outdoor seating area was nice. Laying out on the pool chairs, and overlooking the reserve area was so peaceful. The resort offers AWESOME amenities and they even had a Halloween event for the kids (and adults too). Must see, must visit! It's definitely a house to add the MUST stay for any Florida visit list. Looking forward to going back. FYI: It's close to shops, Champions Gate, Golfing, Tampa, and of course Disney.

Vacasa is the WAY TO GO!!!

My children are older and it had been quite awhile since we all vacationed together. The trip we took to Florida far surpassed any expectations we had! The Condo was nicer than the photos as well as the resort. Audrey was the consultant we were fortunate enough to have help us with our arrangements. She took care of everything leaving nothing for us to worry about. Her genuine kindness and eagerness to please was apparent from the minute we spoke with her by phone. Although I'm sure all the staff at Vacasa does a great job, I would highly recommend Aurdry! She will be the one booking our trips to come.

Horrible property management (Don’t book with Vacasa!)

The house was ok. The property management team is horrible. I had issues that I had to deal with the whole time I was on vacation and I kept getting “someone will reach out to you shortly.” - that never happened. We arrived at the property to start our vacation and the previous renters garbage was still at the front door (around 8pm by the way), smelled horrible and bugs everywhere. It was never taken care of. 9 Days! Never taken care of. The house was also not cleaned well. We had to clean everything before we felt comfortable enough to unpack. Also there is no grounds crew so there’s trash and bugs everywhere. Pools are warm and dirty. I have pictures of everything, and I will be posting. Maybe the right person from the management company will see this and make it right - If so, I will update.
