My son (14) and I were very pleased with this hotel and our experience. We immediately felt uplifted as soon as we entered the property. It is a huge property. Check in was seamless and we both agree that paying the extra $ to have a view of the Volcano is definitely worth it. It made the whole experience so special and we were in walking distance then to Volcano Bay with our own special entrance! One thing I didn’t know is that you had to make reservations for the bowling alley. Luckily they squeezed us in and let us do what is called Speed Bowling (we still had 35 minutes) which gave us one and a half games for about half price ($8.95 instead of $16.95) The many different food options were good. Loved the 50s motif. We ate at the bowling alley restaurant and the food was very good and they even made some adjustments (I wanted steak on my Caesar salad instead of chicken and even though it wasn’t offered they didn’t bat an eye and made it). We wandered out by the pool but didn’t use it as we had the whole day at Volcano Bay ahead of us but we could definitely come back and use all the amenities next time. We also loved being able to keep our car parked all day in their garage ($18 charge for overnight) and came back to enjoy more snacks and the atmosphere (and return our borrowed towels) even after checking out earlier that day and spending the day at Volcano Bay. They had a fun arcade that we didn’t get to partake in but will next time. We will return! Highly recommend!
