"The Resident is just enough off the beaten path that the noise level is nonexistent, but so close to everything! We were able to walk to the waterfront, to Liverpool One, or to Liverpool Central train station within minutes. We had a travel disruption due to weather prior to arrival, and everyone was so kind and accommodating regarding changing our reservation. The reception desk team were all stellar, always willing to answer even the silliest of questions. Maria was especially friendly and helpful, but everyone there was simply amazing. I highly recommend staying at The Resident! "

"All was fine unless you’re pathetic enough to complain about 1 cracked tile in a huge multi floor hotel for £49 per night. Most Britannia hotels are great but are allowed to get run down so it I what it is and the Grand was just fine. Drinks were surprisingly well priced. A short and coke was buy 1 get 1 free so 4 cost £12.50. Car parking was £7 per day. Gorgeous swimming pool and great sea views. Only complaint is it’s a bit out of the way but that’s by the by. Would highly recommend unless you’re royalty!"

"Amazing hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful, room was absolutely massive! Food in restaurant was amazing and the breakfast was plentiful. All in all we had a fantastic stay in this hotel. Only downside is that the hotel is further out of town than you think. Took us about 20-25 minutes to walk from hotel to Albert Dock."

"Very clean and modern feeling hotel. I especially liked the deal they have with Paddington Village Car Park which made overnight parking reasonably cheap. Breakfast was good. Our bed was quite firm (I liked it however my wife would have preferred a topper to make it a little more softer). "
