「We spent way more time at the house than we thought we would during the day, skipping planned hikes to paddle board, play games, soak, and sauna. It was a very comfortable spot that accommodated all 3 generations of our family well. We were able to cook all of our food during the time we were there, the kitchen had any tool you might need. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions and seem to genuinely love the house and area. 」

「This apartment was so beautiful and located next to a charming Main Street with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and cute shops. It was perfect for the 3 of us at the end of our trip. It’s pretty close to Acadia National Park without all the regular drama of the crowd in Bar Harbor.」

「It was a beautiful studio apt. It appeared to be quite new or very well maintained. Only non issues was someone was parked in our space so we parked on street and when I called because the door would not lock my call was never returned. However, I would absolutely rent this sweet studio apt again when going to a concert. Thank you for a lovely stay. FYI the tray on the bed with the magazines and plant were a very thoughtful touch as was the coffee cart and snack basket!!」

「We had a terrific week on Beech Hill Pond! This is our 2nd year working with Josh and he makes the whole process (from booking to check-out) so smooth and easy. The property location is perfect that is gave us privacy but direct access to the lake and easy trips to Ellsworth for dinners and Bar Harbor for the day. We had everything we need as far as amenities and use water sports equipment. We rented a pontoon and tube from Lakeside Rental and thoroughly enjoyed every moment on the lake. ...

「This place is like a fairy house come to life! So much care has gone into creating this magical getaway, and the waterfront private cove location cannot be beat. We feel so lucky we found this place and cannot wait to return. It was exactly the disconnected getaway we needed!」

「Excellent location and a very well equipped rental. Beds are super comfy and supportive. Having a little back yard for our pooch was a plus. The weather in Bangor was very hot while there and the AC provided a perfect temperature for the house. We were there for a medical procedure and having a 2 minute drive to Northern Lights Hospital was a huge plus. All in all a very positive experience!」

「We had a wonderful stay at this quaint and quiet tiny house in Bar Harbor. The accommodations were exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Although we did not use the fire pit, that would be a nice addition to the cool Fall night. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day of exploring Acadia. It was the perfect peaceful retreat and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!」

「Our stay at the James House was very relaxing. We had 3 generations and comfortably housed 7 of us. The layout was great, the kitchen was well stocked and the fishing on Chemo Lake was unmatched. We rented a pontoon boat from Josh as well and that process was smooth and seemed, allowing us to fish, tube and explore the lake daily. I would highly recommend. If you are not an early riser, I would be aware that there is a landscaping company located directly across the road from the house which did...

「This is a great property right on the lake. The house was clean and comfortable with a great fire pit for evenings by the fire. We traveled about 30 minutes to both Acadia and Bar Harbor with ease. Really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend!」

"The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
