「We had a great vacation on Jaybird Pond, swimming, kayaking, hiking and making family memories. Renters should know that the property does not have running water or electricity. The property managers help you figure out how to boil the pond water and use the propane lamps. If you’re willing to rough it, you can’t beat the experience of having your own pond. 」

「I would love to rent again. The space was enough for the number of guests allowed. Enclosed porch, deck, grill, and fire pit by the water were used daily. Water level is great for kids and water toys like floats and paddle boards. If it’s windy the water might be a little choppy but nothing major. Great view of the sun setting over the mountains. I really enjoyed my stay. 」

「This was a great place! The host Gloria was extremely kind and efficient. Thank you so much! Our family had an amazing time! The ease of checking in and out were great.We had a pretty view of lake and mountains and a private beach right across the street. Booked last minute for a concert at the Bank of Pavillion and was a 5 min walk to the venue! Wish we had booked for longer! We will definitely be back!」

「The cabin we stayed in was great. Small refrigerator and everything we needed was inside. It was clean and check in was easy. The amenities around the cabins were great. Showers, a cute little arcade and outdoor seating and games. There was a vending machine and ice, along with a washer and dryer. Great location and beautiful scenery. 」

「I grew up coming up to this lake. My family owned a small log cabin across the cove. It is heart warming to know that there are still a handfull of cozy, knotty-pine paneled cabins here like the one I grew up in. This place was completely charming — big stone fireplace, beamed ceilings with skylights, large deck overlooking the water, lots of windows for natural light. The kitchen was great but could have used some wine glasses and other glassware, and the oven was difficult to figure out. Also,...

「Paul is a wonderful host and the house is fantastic. Our teens loved playing air hockey and ping pong with us and we had several “tournaments” during our stay. The house has everything you need and being able to relax in the spa at the end of a long day hiking is wonderful. We hope to be back soon. 」
