“Lovely self contained apartment in a beautiful home. Very comfortable. Plenty of parking and great location to leave the car and travel by bus to neighbouring towns and attractions. Super host welcomed us and gave us lots of information about the area we knew where to find him if we needed anything but otherwise left alone to come and go at will. Downhill walk into Torquay takes about 10-15 mins, bus stop about 2 minutes away. The walk back from bus stop is a bit of a killer so save a bit of……

“The lodge was exactly as described. Surrounded by a large green garden and woodland and hedgerow. It is off the beaten track but this made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Waking in the morning to see a deer grazing was an absolute treat. Also got visited by a Pheasant as well as a very healthy looking fox!! A previous review mentioned some dodgy Wifi, but after bumping into the lovely owner of the property it got resolved, so absolutely no complaints at all. Did not go there for Wifi anyway!……
