Otto Adventure Sport Hotel

"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

"I cannot stress how much I recommend this hotel enough; the entire experience was absolutely incredible. The owner, Kosuke, was so cool, accommodating, and sweet. Before we arrived, he called me on the phone to try and get my estimated time of arrival so he could pick us up from the train station. He did us the favor of stopping at a convenience store so that we could get everything we needed before going to the hotel itself. "窓が大きく、部屋からの景色が、ほぼ空、という素敵なロケーションでした。 露天風呂も、座ると、本当に空しか見えず、移りゆく雲を眺めながらゆったりすることができました。 のんびり過ごすには最高の宿でした。 ただ、宿泊したときは、予約で一杯だったせいか、朝食の時間が1時間で交代になり、小さい子供を連れて行ったので、少し慌ただしい朝食になりました。 また、お風呂のお湯は、混んでいたせいか、やや汚れが取り切れていないように思えました。 全体的に、昔からある宿が、リノベーション等しながら、いい雰囲気を残しつつ、ゆったり過ごせる環境になっているいい宿、という印象でした。 あまりゆっくり食べやれませんでしたが、ご飯も美味しかったので、また、蒲郡に行くことがあれば、候補の1つです。"

"The location is excellent, right on the beach. The rooms are large and clean, very good condition and with a private bath. We also had a nice balcony to enjoy the wonderful sunset. The roof top baths are also very nice with a great view to the beach and surrounding area. We would have preferred the water temperature to be a bit hotter. The service is excellent and English was not a problem. The food was pretty good and overall a very relaxing stay and a very good value."
