“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 1697. The location is excellent, right on the main square. It's tucked away so you feel like you are in a quiet oasis. The property is charming, and the rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning by the pool. The staff was lovely. We hope to return soon. ”

“Return from Laguna San Ignacio, stayed at this LOVELY boutique hotel. Excellent accommodations. Continental breakfast served at 8am: Yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, warm toast and excellent coffee. Love this place.”

“We stayed at the Hotel Oasis for just one night and loved the location, the restaurant, and the pool. The neighborhood felt safe and although a little dated, the property is well cared for. The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive to anything we needed. There were a lot of dogs that live on the property and they were all friendly, happy, and well cared for. The only down side was noise at night. At several times overnight the dogs would start barking and wake us up. I think they are……

“Rooms at Hacienda Suites Loreto are about what you’d expect from a 2-star hotel. Nothing fancy, but adequate. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily. Our room had no refrigerator, but more “delux” rooms did. We had to request our AC be re-programmed to cool lower than 78 degrees. Staff friendly, but some spoke little English. Daily breakfast was excellent. Pool and outdoor areas were nice with plenty of seating and shade. Rooftop installation of solar panels made afternoon naps……

“Loved the location - on a car free street. Luis was very helpful and friendly. Most of the time, the church bells sounded lije banging on a skillet, other times pretty loud. Still loved staying there. The balcony was perfect!”

“The resort is beautiful and located in a really beautiful place, with an incredible beach. Lucky for whoever manages this place, because this almost allows folks to be able to overlook everything else, which was by and large, absolutely awful. The food is so incredibly bad, it’s almost unbelievable. Like, you’d have to try to get to the levels of awful that the food and restaurants are at this resort. Truly incredible. Really bad flavors and cooked to imperfection. Steaks come well done, dried……
