“Avanos ist ein sehr hübscher Ort außerhalb vom großen Touristenrummel. Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Bushaltestelle zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sehr gutes Frühstück, super nette und hilfsbereite Besitzer. Fantastische Aussicht und ein zauberhafter Garten zum Chillen nach den Ausflügen. Unbedingte Empfehlung!”

“Very chill, family-run place. It’s almost like walking into a family cottage than a hotel, in a good way. We stayed only for a few hours - we had checked out of a different hotel in Goreme in the morning, and had all day to explore Avanos until our flight at night. We also wanted to catch some sleep before our flight so Akman was perfect since the rooms were very inexpensive. The host and his wife were very warm, and although I couldn’t speak or understand Turkish they went out of the way to……

“Hanımkız Konagi located in Avanos (not Göreme). Very convenient location to downtown area and Evranos restaurant where you can have dinner with Turkish dancing show. The host is very friendly and helpful for arranging my hot balloon and paragliding tours. I had a great time staying in Hanımkız Konagi.”

“Rose Valley Hotel was a great experience. The rooms were beautiful with high arched ceilings and everything was very clean. The breakfast is cooked fresh for each table and was very delicious. Best free hotel breakfast we have ever had. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the balloons. The customer service was amazing and the hotel staff helped coordinate food delivery, shuttles, a hot air balloon ride, and much more. Everyone made us feel very welcome and at home.”
