Ideal location. Tasteful Decor. Very Clean.We are all 80 and would have appreciated a walk-in shower on at least one floor. So extremely hazardous that we all skipped a shower after 1st night.

One of our favorite places

This was our second visit to the little house and we will definitely come again:) It's so cozy and well equipped and I love how easy it is to pop down yo the beach and see all the amazing wildlife!

Cute house in a great location!

This cute home had all we needed, including a fenced yard for our dogs. We were able to walk to the aquarium and to downtown Pacific Grove. Great location.

Great Place!

Lovely house in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful time at the Little House- it has everything you need (the kitchen was particularly well stocked)! It was so cozy and relaxing. The best part though is the location, we walked to the aquarium, the beach, the playground, restaurants, everything is so close! Loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

Lovely Little House

A little bit of serenity

It was a wonderful little place, very cozy close to the water, walking distance to restaurants. Very clean, the shower is in a clawfoot tub which I loved but may not be for everyone. I had a very relaxing time celebrating my son’s birthday with a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and surrounding area.

Wonderful stay in Pacific Grove

Clean and very cute Victorian style home. Cozy place to be after a day of sight seeing. Easy access to the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail along the ocean. Just had to walk to end of the block for great ocean and sea otter views. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem

This place is a hidden gem. The location is perfect, walking distance to the ocean, aquarium, shopping, dinning, all in reasonable distance. The house is very clean, has a well equipped kitchen. You walk in and feel right at home!

Family Getaway to Monterey Bay

This home was perfect our family of 4, with two teenagers. The location very close to the path along the bay which made it easy to stroll to the Aquarium or just enjoy the views. We could easily walk out for meals and groceries. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Instructions for everything were clear and easy to follow.

Cute little red house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay at this rental house. It was comfortable and cozy. Stocked with almost everything you need. Extra coffee filters would have been nice. Had to leave the remaining 200 pack we bought. Can’t use them at home. Somebody will use them. Found the long matches after I improvised to light the BBQ. The house is perfect for a small family and our dog loved the yard. To us it’s in the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood and equal walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove and cannery row. The little park down the street is fun for dogs and easy access to the coastal trail. Wed stay here again and the only two very minor complaints are the worn out “soft” couch cushions and the “cozy” showers in the claw foot tubs. But I guess that’s part of the charm of the house 😉

Great Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of four including daughters 9 and 11 stayed here for four nights with the in-laws. Our family stayed upstairs and it was quite private from the downstairs. Everything was wonderful and the host was super responsive. My daughter spilled nail polish on a rug and shower curtain and I sent photos of the crime scene to the host and they were able to handle it and didn’t charge us which was very kind. I would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: We loved this historic home, location and amenities.The only downside for us were the old claw-footed bathtubs.They look great and fit the old style, but for us they were very difficult to get in and out and I actually needed help not to slip.While I know it would be a cost to the owner, putting a walk-in shower downstairs would allow older guests to really enjoy this wonderful home.I guess because we stayed 5 nights, it was more of an issue.

Girls get away

We enjoyed a beautifully decorated historical home in the heart of Pacific Grove. We were welcomed with wine, cheese, and crackers. There is a beautiful oceanside trail just around the corner and many restaurants, shops, and an amazing aquarium are in walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked. Towels, bedding, linens were nice quality. We had difficulty with the preprogrammed A/C. Despite our efforts to keep the desired temperature at 70, it kept hopping back up to 80. The firepit and outdoor chairs were not prepped for use. We had plenty of keys and parking is easy.

The Sweet Spot

Pretty much walkable to where you want to go, with the cutest little backyard area! I found myself conflicted - I wanted to explore the beauties the area has to offer, but I also just wanted to hang in out at the home. This house is filled to the brim with Victorian charm. The clawfoot bathtubs were wonderful for soaking, but be advised, showering created a slippery surface. Be cautious of that. The home was well-equipped and very comfortable. I would love to return one day, however it is pretty pricey and seems to fluctuate greatly - but is definitely a “get what you pay for” experience. If you are very tall, I would not recommend this home only because of the low ceilings located upstairs. Other than that it’s pretty near perfect!

Perfect location and cute house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been visiting PG for the last 25 years and this is our first home stay. We spent a week here and wish we could stay more. The house was perfect for our family and dog. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked for anything you may need. Beds were very comfortable. Some beach chairs and a small cooler would have been appreciated. We loved the character of the home from 1888. I agree with most guests concerning access into the clawfoot tubs but that’s part of the charm. Neighborhood was quiet except for trash day. They sure get started early 🙁. The location made it easy to walk to downtown PG, the coastal trail and Cannery Row. Sanctuary was great the work with and there were no surprises. We’ll be back soon. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous house

What an adorable house and in a perfect location, half block from the ocean. The house is finished perfectly, tile, hardwood floors, everything fits the house. Every pot, pan, waffle marker, crock pot, knife, plates, plastic cups, wine glasses, mugs is available for you to use. Large refrigerator, toaster oven, keurig were all available. Sheets and towels were nice. Hair dryers in each bathroom, q tips and cotton balls, everything you may have forgotten at home. You can see the water from several windows. Neighborhood was so quiet - only the seagulls made noise my only comment was we asked last minute for a late check out and were told by management company 30 mins would be all they could offer, we accepted. Promptly at check out time someone came to the house ready to start stripping bedding and towels he told us nothing was communicated to him and we need to be more direct with the rental company. We left 5 mins after check out but it was a tad frustrating. House is great, location is great will stay again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is less than a block from the water where you can look out and see otters and seals. It is a well-kept, comfortable house with all the amenities. The kitchen was great, has lots of room, and everything you need to cook. There's a nice backyard area with fire pit and BBQ which makes for a great gathering space. The beds were really comfortable. If you are looking to stay in Pacific Grove, this is a great choice!As with all classic Victorians, it has a claw foot tub, which will create some problems for people with limited mobility or balance issues. I am short, which made it a challenge too. It's a big step in and a big step out. That was the only downside for us, and I can't complain about it because I knew about it going in. There were a few very small things I contacted the property manager for and they were very quick to reply. Thank you!
