The home was a joy to stay in. Location was great and able to walk to shops and restaurants. The only negative I'd like to report, is that handrails should be installed in the main bathroom shower/bath. tub a bit slippery.

Navy Family Retreat

We have a family member who will be attending the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey. We were able to have a short family visit with all of our family. The space allowed us to have a family meal, watch movies, but access the beach and have fun.

Great House and Location for Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over the years, we've rented maybe 20 different places around the Monterey Bay Area, and this is one of the best. You can walk to everything in Pacific Grove--you're maybe two blocks from Lover's Point and a few more from restaurants, shops, museums. Further, the place is well-furnished and well-kept. There is plenty of driveway and street parking, and the yard is fenced (if you're traveling with a canine companion.) We would absolutely rent this place again.

Pacific grove

Location is great about 6 houses from beach and 2 blocks from restaurants. House is as described, check in and out a breeze. One tiny point for improvement would be privatizing the glass for both the front and back doors. Literally, anyone walking by can see in through the mostly plain glass front door.

Spacious and well appointed. Great location. If I could improve on a couple of things it would be perfect; they are more trash receptacles than just bathroom and kitchen and a better Keurig Machine. We had a great time though. Beds were comfortable. I loved not having to deal with the public car chargers-the last time we were here, 3 of 4 were not working. We have two electric cars and were able to drive from Sacramento to Pacific Grove on a single charge.

Great place, great location

This house was great for our family. Updated, clean, comfy beds, well built (not one creaky floor). Wedged between downtown Pacific Grove and Lovers' Point Beach, the location is ideal for walking. We would stay here again.

We all fell in love with this home and the short distance to the Lover's Point and down town Pacific Grove was such a bonus. We walked everywhere including Cannery Row and the aquarium. We made very special memories with the grandkids (ages 7 and 3). They can't wait to go back and the adults agree.

This property is absolutely perfect. It is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were so soft! Great location. Close to the beach as well as downtown.

Felt like home

Really lovely property and in a great location. Loved that it was a short walk to the beach path and far enough away from the touristy area. Great attention to detail and the property management was very helpful and kind. Hope to go back!

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed the property! It was clean and well stocked and as a fellow VRBO super host appreciated the amenities. Only negative was no real yard and no privacy from neighbors but still excellent choice.
