Navy Family Retreat

We have a family member who will be attending the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey. We were able to have a short family visit with all of our family. The space allowed us to have a family meal, watch movies, but access the beach and have fun.

Great place, great location

This house was great for our family. Updated, clean, comfy beds, well built (not one creaky floor). Wedged between downtown Pacific Grove and Lovers' Point Beach, the location is ideal for walking. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Place to Stay

This property is absolutely perfect. It is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were so soft! Great location. Close to the beach as well as downtown.

Great Location & Beautiful house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and family had a wonderful vacation at the Point Break house. The larger master suite was perfect for my daughter and son-in-law since they had a 10 month old. The yard was fenced so the dog could go out and walk around when needed. The house is so close to the beach and many restaurants. Very nice to have a garage space we could fit our Cr-v in. Also has a driveway that will hold 2 cars. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect in Every Way!

The property was clean, conveniently located and well appointed. We were traveling back and forth to the Women's US Open, and we couldn't have picked a better place. It was convenient to the beach, the small town of Pacific Grove and the Pebble Beach courses. Everyone was so nice and the property management company was amazing!

Pacific Grove delight

Beautiful home with a great location. The owners thought of everything when they refreshed this lovely home. Only complaint… the carpet had a heavy traffic pattern and the pillows are way too hard With that, we’ll stay there again

The house was nicely updated and clean. Perfect size for our family of 5! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice places to eat near by.i would only mention that the rental company requests no shoes in the house, so bring some slippers as it’s all LVT and the floors and especially the steps are very slippery!

Great Location

Property is as advertised. Overall clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everywhere in Pacific Grove and even aquarium in Monterey was only a mile walk. Our group was 3 adult couples so having kingsize beds in each room was nice. We had two small sports cars that fit in garage, though one side was very tight. Driveway/street clearance also an issue. Carpeting in bedrooms is becoming a little worn but we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay in Pacific Grove

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I booked a last-minute vacation in Pacific Grove at the Point Break property. The property was beyond our expectations with very large bedrooms, a large living room, and a large kitchen/dining room area. The property is located a block from the ocean and allowed us to take some great walks along the water during our stay. the property is also about 3 blocks aways from the downtown Pacific Grove area which is very quaint with many restaurants and shops. The property is also only 5 minutes away from Monterey and 15 minutes away from Carmel. It was a nice stay for our family. The only issues we had were the bathrooms including the showers were not well cleaned before our stay, and the outside trash cans were full. We cleaned the bathrooms ourselves, and we called the property management company to have the trash company come to pick up the trash.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in the Point Break house and had a fantastic time. As they say, location, location, location. Walk out the door, turn right, Lovers Point. Turn left, Lighthouse Ave with the restaurants, cafes, shops. The night of arrival, the propane tank for the fire pit was empty. A quick phone call and a replacement tank was delivered the next day. The upstairs hallway bathtub was clogged and not draining. The kitchen faucet had a leak. Both of these required a plumber, who arrived within 48 hours to address both issues. Sanctuary mgmt provided a $400 rebate, which was greatly appreciated. The house was immaculate, kitchen well stocked, mgmt very responsive to the reported issues. Would stay here again.

Perfect 50th Birthday Celebration Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Point Break is a delightful, comfortable, luxurious property. The king beds were so comfortable and the rooms all well-appointed and spacious. You're close to Carmel and Monterey by car and walking to the Rec Trail and PG town were a breeze. The Farmer's market is 2 blocks away. Pavel's is a must for morning pastries. There is no shortage of wonderful restaurants to enjoy and the Grove Market is well stocked if you prepare meals at home. Trader Joe's and Safeway are up the road. You could, conceivably, never get in your car after arrival and be very happily ensconced. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a 20 minute walk. The Natural History Museum is about 2 minutes. Bookworks is a must stop bookstore and the attached coffee house is recommended. A delightful selection of shops are nearby from estate jewelry (Sun Studios/Jeffrey Collection), vintage clothing, semi-precious stones, local artwork to a wonderful women's wear shop (Victorius). There are golf courses galore and bikes or Stand Up Paddleboards to rent at Lover's Point if walking the trail or shopping aren't enough adventure or exercise for you.Having the garage and driveway were key as you always had a parking spot waiting. The BBQ worked great and the outside seating area is inviting. HIGHLY recommended.

Great House and Location for Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over the years, we've rented maybe 20 different places around the Monterey Bay Area, and this is one of the best. You can walk to everything in Pacific Grove--you're maybe two blocks from Lover's Point and a few more from restaurants, shops, museums. Further, the place is well-furnished and well-kept. There is plenty of driveway and street parking, and the yard is fenced (if you're traveling with a canine companion.) We would absolutely rent this place again.

Spacious and well appointed. Great location. If I could improve on a couple of things it would be perfect; they are more trash receptacles than just bathroom and kitchen and a better Keurig Machine. We had a great time though. Beds were comfortable. I loved not having to deal with the public car chargers-the last time we were here, 3 of 4 were not working. We have two electric cars and were able to drive from Sacramento to Pacific Grove on a single charge.

Pacific grove

Location is great about 6 houses from beach and 2 blocks from restaurants. House is as described, check in and out a breeze. One tiny point for improvement would be privatizing the glass for both the front and back doors. Literally, anyone walking by can see in through the mostly plain glass front door.

We all fell in love with this home and the short distance to the Lover's Point and down town Pacific Grove was such a bonus. We walked everywhere including Cannery Row and the aquarium. We made very special memories with the grandkids (ages 7 and 3). They can't wait to go back and the adults agree.
