"The hotel itself was in a nice elevated position, sound proofing not great and every night there was very loud music til early hours. Not geared up for non Portuguese visitors language wise. The pool was nice, but the decking around it needs repair and was bit of a shock when the sprinklers came on as we were lying on Sunbeds! The spa looked lovely but we decided against it when told you could only enter if wearing a swimming cap - sort of kills the relaxed vibe! Staff were nice, limited food...

"A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"Property was well set out and a good size, two bedrooms plus lounge and kitchen. Owner was friendly, met us there at the agreed time for handover. Village is very quiet, with a well stocked shop two minutes walk away. Motorway is an easy drive away."
