Long weekend Reunion

Great location to visit Paderborn and the surrounds, bus service both ways just outside the entrance, nice coffee shop on-site and a local market just around the back to get supplies.

Reception was extremely unpleasant and rude. It said breakfast was included but was not. The male receptionist refused to give us a QR code to check in after reception closed at 7pm!! He then put the phone down!!!!! Atrocious behavior.

Die Bilder des Hotels sind leider völlig irreführend, als erstes werden Bilder aus der Umgebung gezeigt, die überhaupt nicht zum Hotel gehören. Auch der Hotelname ist plötzlich ein anderer (IBB Hotel). Das Hotel liegt mitten im Gewerbegebiet direkt an der Straße und hat unten drunter Geschäfte und gegenüber einen Supermarkt, d.h. ständigen Autolärm tagsüber als auch nachts. Das Zimmer an sich war in Ordnung, aber vom Gebäude gegenüber konnte man direkt hineinschauen, wenn man nicht die Vorhänge zugezogen hat und im Durchgang unten drunter wurde von den Angestellten der Geschäfte immer geraucht, so dass man die Fenster trotz extremer Wärme im Zimmer geschlossen halten musste. Ein Schlafen bei offenem Fenster war wegen des Straßenlärms auch nicht möglich. Der QR Scan beim Automaten funktionierte auch nicht, aber zumindest war die Rezeptionistin da und freundlich. Trotz des relativ günstigen Preises fand ich diesen für die Leistung leider noch zu hoch. Ich würde das Hotel nicht noch einmal wählen.

Zimmer zur Straße war sehr laut und das TV Gerät funktionierte nicht. Durch einen Anruf konnten wir in das gegenseitige Zimmer ziehen, in dem es ruhiger war und auch das TV Gerät funktionierte. Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Lage ist randstädtisch und ohne eigenes Auto sicher schwierig zu erreichen. Mit PKW jedoch kein Problem. Ebenso genügend Parkraum vorhanden.

Eigentlich soll man ja nichts sagen, wenn man nichts nettes sagen kann... Dieses Hotel benötigt: Einen Kammerjäger, gewissenhaftes Reinigungspersonal, einen neuen Stuhl und jemand der da am Wochenende mal aufpasst! Ich möchte nicht zu weit ausschweifen. Keine Empfehlung! Eher Rastplatzmotel als Hotel. Mit Kindern würde ich da auf keinen Fall buchen!
