Great stay!

And everything was clean, instructions were clear, very spacious. Located close to tons of restaurants and in town. They had cute little soaps and things in the bathroom just like a hotel, towels just for the hot tub. Definitely a recommend!

Great!

Housed two families with more than enough room. Kitchen was complete with even more than we needed! Fire place stove was amazing, large comfortable rooms. Great location and very clean. Highly recommend

Beautiful cabin

The home exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious, lots of amenities. Large hot tub. Rooms were spaced out. Easily accommodated our group of eight with room for extras.

Beautiful Area

The property was very nice and met all of our needs. The only negative was no personal contact with the management team. Many text message exchanges would not have been necessary if there had been a short personal welcoming visit. Just our opinion. This being said, the property itself is highly recommended.

A Great Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 4 adults, 2 teen and one dog enjoyed the house immensely and had a great week in Pagosa. House is spacious and located in a quiet community. The kitchen is well stocked, which was great since we cooked all our meals at home to avoid covid. When we noticed the grill was out of propane, a text to VIP got a quick response and a full tank was delivered the next morning as we requested. Thank you!

Beautiful Property, Property Management Needs Some Work

This is the 2nd time, this year, that we stayed at this home. The home is beautiful and perfect for a family; however, we did have a few issues while we were here this time. 1. The hot tub quit heating our second day. We didn't realize this until we returned from a day of skiing and were getting into the hot tub to relax. When I called, I was told it was because the water level was too low, and they would be able to fix it in the morning. This was very disappointing because it was only 5:00 pm. I really don't understand why the property management company wouldn't have come out at that time to fix it, it's not like it was late at night. After asking, we were given instructions on how to refill it with the hose, and we got it working after a few hours. It was just an inconvenience that I wouldn't have expected. In addition, we were made to feel as if we caused the problem which I thought was very unprofessional. The text messages that I received demonstrated that the property manager was intent on having the last word and taking no responsibility. In the end, we were given a small discount for that day, so I do believe they made it right. I was really just surprised by the level of unprofessionalism. 2. The temperature in the house was really hot. Even after turning the thermostat down to 60 degrees, it was close to 75 degrees in the house. When I asked about this, I was told that the house has radiant heat and the best way to cool it down was to open the windows. We ended up sleeping with the windows open and it never cooled down in the basement, where the temperature was hovering around 80 degrees. This just seems like an issue that should be fixed, rather than wasting precious resources by heating the outdoors. 3. There are absolutely no Kleenex in the house. We remember this from last time too. It seems odd that there would be paper towels and toilet paper but no tissues. Not a huge problem, but just an inconvenience. 4. Several lights were not working when we arrived (bedroom, dining room, etc.). We replaced 6 lightbulbs during our short stay. 5. The pinball machine upstairs doesn’t work. It worked last time we stayed. 6. Shoes were left on the front porch and an unopened beer was in the laundry room sink when we arrived. All in all, we had a great time, and again, the house itself is beautiful. The biggest problems are with management, and really just one individual there. Great Log Home

Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking or playing golf. Although there were a few hiccups along the way , the staff quickly addressed our concerns . We will definitely return for another visit in the future.

Very nice property

We rented this house for a family ski/snowboard trip. The house is very spacious and well furnished. Beautiful neighborhood. Plenty of room for the whole family to sleep and enjoy meals together. Will definitely rent again if we are back in the area.

Great ski trip - Spring Break

House was great. Hot tub rocked. Kids enjoyed the Xbox, but were bummed the pinball machine was out of order. Also liked that the car fit in the garage and the hot laundry was great for hanging up ski gear. All in all really enjoyed the house.

Great little place

Overall it was a great stay. Place is perfect and 10 people do not make it seem small at all. Beds were comfy and plenty of extra mattresses and such so that you are not on top of each other. Only issue was the BBQ. It was so greased over that i could barely get a flame. Tried to call and email on a Sunday and did not get an email back till next day. Kinda sucked as I had to do my best to cook some burgers. Other issue is security deposit. We checked out 8 days ago and I still have not got my deposit. Checked in with them and they said " Once we complete our exit inspection, we process those. You can usually expect 7-15 days" That seems a bit of a long stretch. Funny how places sure take the money right away, but take forever to give it back

Mountain Beauty

We loved our stay at this cabin. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen and rooms were equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again!!!

Awesome Place.

The house is awesome. Perfect size for our large family. We had plenty of room. The house is in a great location and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved the hot tub on the porch. We had an amazing snow storm and the "kids" had fun making snow people.

Quiet mountain getaway!

Wonderful stay! Close to grocery stores and to town. In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Neighbors seem to value their space, so be considerate of noise, property lines, dogs, etc if you stay here. We had an overall comfortable and memorable stay!

The beds were amazing very comfortable. There were plenty of lakes to choose from to go fishing and hiking around. We winded down in the hot tub,great. February getaway

We love this cabin as it is our second time back. The house is amazing and location is great for us. It’s about 35 minutes to the ski base. We love the space in the rooms and living areas. Could use extra towels and Kleenex but will know for next time we visit. Definitely going back to this cabin. Communication with the VIP property management was excellent and prompt!

Spring Break 2023

House was accurately described and more than enough room for our family of 6. Hot tub and kitchen were great after long days on the slopes. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very nice. Double shower heads were a nice bonus. We all loved the pinball machine. Close to grocery store. Most days it took 45 minutes to an hour to get to and from Wolf Creek Ski Area— this was in a peak ski week with several days of snowy weather. We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely Perfect!

The property is in a beautiful location. It is very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of room and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. I love that we were very close to town but still in a quiet location.

Nice place just out of town.

Plenty of room at this place! You can take a nap in three different levels. We had a lot of fun on the pinball machine. If there is snow, I recommend an AWD or a 4WD, as the driveway has an incline and those who plow the streets tend to leave a barrier of piled snow at the base of the driveway. All the appliance worked well and the water was nice and warm in the showers. We had to provide our own garbage bags and dishwasher detergent, but that wasn’t really an issue for us. We had a great time and would stay here again.
