Wonderful Stay!
My family had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean and the layout is great with the kid's being able to be upstairs with their own bathroom. Less than 20 minutes from Wolf Creek ski area and 10 min from Pagosa, it was the perfect location. Highly recommend!

Colorfest 2023
We had a wonderful stay for this year’s Colorfest. The property was close enough to town to go back and forth but enabled us to have a quiet getaway, as well. The neighborhood was home to turkeys, deer and a lot of bird life. We enjoyed sunsets from the rocking chairs on the porch.

Great Location, Wonderful Property
Great location, easy to find, quiet, and just minutes from Pagosa Springs. Very little traffic noise from the highway. Property was clean and orderly, and everything worked as advertised. Our only complaint was the small angled driveway to get our vehicle in the garage, that took a little practice, but not a major item. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we enjoyed it!

Small Family Gathering
This was a perfect place for a small portion of my family to meet up for a relaxing extended weekend. We were able to cook and relax both inside and on the hige porch outside. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The hosts were fantastic.

Needs some work
The House location is awesome, There is NO AC so just keep that in mind The beds are not great, the linen is terrible, it felt like a cheap hotel, Everything is just dingy The carpet is in terrible condition, cleaning it is not going to help it My daughter is allergic to animals and her asthma kicked in on the first night from her allergies and after the 2nd night we had to leave it was so bad. The door frame is coming off on the main bedroom door and the main bathroom toilet was not flushing right either. This place clearly needs some work, everything just feels old and dirty Could not get the TV to work either even texted the management a few times about it but no response After we left the management did call me to talk about everything I really hope she can get it all fixed because it has potential but right now I would not be renting this place.

This home does not allow pets and I hope her reaction was not the result of someone sneaking a pet in during their stay. We take your comments seriously and strive to make sure all of our guests enjoy their stay. With regard to the Roku TV, I looked back through the text messages and saw your message. My guest relations manager had responded asking for clarification on what the TV screen was displaying so he could help you troubleshoot the problem but did not get a response back and thought the problem had resolved. So sorry for the misunderstanding! Roku TV can definitely be a bit tricky! Would still like to talk with you when you have a minute. Please feel free to give me a call at your convenience. Jaimi

Quick weekend getaway
We had a wonderful time and the cabin provided everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was very clean and amenities were as advertised. When we went, the outside temps were in the 80's and there is no A/C. The management promptly brought us a box fan and that was all we needed. We were there for a weekend of hiking and rest. The Cabin is a close drive to several breathtaking trails and very easy access to town and restaurants. The restaurant guide that the owners left us was so helpful as well.

Great Stay
Stay was wonderful, house has everything needed for an amazing stay. The only thing was box fans were listed but not provided, we have been to Pagosa before so brought a few just in case. You will not regret booking this place, plenty of room for a family.

Perfect choice
The house was perfect. Far enough from town to be quiet (and closer to the slopes) but an easy 7-minute drive to PG. Very comfortable and spacious.

Felt Like Home
As soon as we arrived, we noticed small, charming touches in the home that made me immediately feel at home. There was a Christmas tree in the corner, a wooden trivet on the table, charming utensil holders in kitchen, wooden swing on porch... The list goes on. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The setup of the house was AWESOME! 2 bedrooms upstairs on one end of the house and the master on the first floor on the other end. My only cautionary statement to anyone staying here in the winter is the driveway. When we arrived, there was snow packed on one side of driveway from a week or so prior and deep ruts on the other side. Wasn't terrible but it snowed overnight and the next morning was treacherous trying to get down the driveway even after shoveling. Would stay here again in a heartbeat anytime with the exception of winter until the driveway gets fixed. Hosts were wonderful and very communicative. They did contact the property manager as soon as I texted them about the driveway issue and we had someone finally come out and take care of the driveway but it was 8p at night. Overall, LOVED the house and the hosts, just not the driveway.

Great house, lack communication
The house itself is spectacular! We loved it and our family of two parents and three older kids (ages 18-22) were very comfortable there. It’s beautiful! Our problems were with arrival and communication with the property management. Upon arrival, we felt like they weren’t expecting us. We could not make it up the driveway to the garage in our Yukon - the ice and snow were too thick. There was a very small amount of salt in the garage that we sprinkled on and then headed to get snow chains and more salt. Also, when we made it in the house, the heat hadn’t been turned on and it was 55 degrees in the house. And, the big trash can in the garage had not been emptied. I texted the numbers we had been given in the book at the property that night (~6pm) to ask for any tips on the driveway and to let them know about the trash can. No answer. I sent multiple messages the next day, but not all went through. I kept sending until my phone said it was delivered. I finally got an automated reply the next day with a “we will let our people know about the trash can” added to it. The same day I got a message on the VRBO site to say “We haven’t heard from you. We hope your stay is going well!” I contacted the property manager through VRBO and got another automated reply. I never got any advice about the drive. Other than the lack of communication and the fact we didn’t feel like everything had been taken care of beforehand (the thrash, heat, and driveway) the property was great. Bottom line - we would stay there again. We just hope they’d take these points and make them right. Note - you will need 4WD or chains to get up to the house through the neighborhood and the driveway itself when it is snowy. (That should be on the description of the property !)

A nicely kept property in a quiet mountain neighborhood. Excellent cleaning. Well equipped kitchen. Reading brightness bedside table lamps would be a great addition. The bar style window view seating is a nice feature.

Very comfortable
We were able to put our vehicle in the garage. No snow to remove in the morning. A lot of snow fell during our visit and the views from the windows were beautiful. Had turkeys walking across the yard in the afternoons. The inside is well situated and there is plenty of room. Temp is easy to control. Comforts of being at home!

Wonderful ski vacation
We had a great time staying at this property. The home was spacious and comfortably furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several complete meals for six at home. The kitchen table was comfortable and roomy for our party of six. The bedrooms were roomy and gave plenty of space to everyone. The location was easy to get to. We had no trouble accessing it in our AWD Honda Pilot, despite TONS of snow while we were there. Our absolute favorite part was enjoying the yard where we had plenty of room to sled, snow tube and build igloos. If you’re staying here in the snow, definitely bring a sled!! We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Cozy house for a ski getaway
This was a clean and comfortable cabin for an adult family of 5 with a couple friends. The entry instructions were very straight forward and easy. The management team was very communicative and quick to respond. The house was warm and welcoming when we arrived. And it was a bonus to be able to park in the garage during our stay. Our only issue was arriving at night and not having the outdoor lights on to see the door - but we let the management team know and they appreciated our feedback for future guests. It was a short ski trip - but we loved having this cabin to come back to each night. Highly recommend this house. Thank you

Wonderful mountain views
We really enjoyed the views from the porch at this house, but wish the furniture inside and out was more comfortable. Time to redecorate and replace furnishings that are dated, awkwardly and too big for space? I think so. Much to like about this house and its location, but it was hard to enjoy views while sitting on hard wooden chairs with no cushions. Patio also lacks tables for drinks/food. Kitchen chairs uncomfortable and appliances date, also. Living room and bedrooms furniture just too big for the space. Several toes stubbed in upstairs bedroom crammed with 2 queens with gigantic wood posts. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated staff for supplying 2 new pots and pans after we noted the old ones were unusable. There is just room for improvement/upgrades in the future to really take advantage of the house’s location and other good qualities. Love the neighborhood.

Great Vacation Home
The house was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and we had an excellent view of the mountains. Not far from town or other points of interest. We had zero issues, and no complaints.

Great property. Clean and comfortable! Convenient location to Wolf Creek Ski and town. The management company was very responsive as needed. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

Excellent Hosts and Location
Loved this property. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before for our annual ski trip, and love how close it is to Wolf Creek. Hosts were always available and responsive if I had any questions. Very clean too! Excellent stay!

Great ski vacation!
My husband, myself and two friends stayed in this property when we came up for a ski vacation. It was the perfect place to stay. Close to Pagosa Springs and close to Wolf Creek. The kitchen was a good size since we cooked dinner every night. Roomy bedrooms and bathrooms. No complaints at all from anyone and all said they would stay here again. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Gorgeous home in a peaceful setting - check your junk mail
This home was perfect. Great location, super clean and extremely comfortable. We will absolutely stay there again. I will also add that the owner was wonderful and so sweet. Just as a heads up to folks, VRBO doesn't manage the overall property, and Google was sending the emails from the property manager to my junk folder, which almost made us miss the stay. That was the only reason I gave a 4 star for the property management review. Thanks to the wonderful communication from the owner, we got everything fixed in the nick of time. Absokuteky worth it!
