We enjoyed this home so much and we were sad to leave. When we first saw the place from the outside we were skeptical, but as soon as we went inside we were very pleased. It is so clean, decorated beautifully and had everything we would need. A quiet little paradise. We loved sitting out on the porch in nature. A sweet little cat would join us. We will recommend this to our friends. paradise.

Everything expected and needed - perfect

Had an “erupting”experience. Spent time in National Park and saw quite a fireworks display right from Volcano House overlook Pāhoa met all of our dining needs and Uncle Robert’s was as advertised. Will stay again.

Beautiful Property

We loved this property! Very clean and well equipped with everything you can think of. Nicely situated to travel around the Island. Beautiful setting with fresh fruit from the trees on site. Comfortable beds. We would definitely book this property again!

Rainforest

Nice quiet area. Enjoyed the orange and lemon trees. Birds, frogs and bugs were quite noisy but could barely be heard when the house was closed up. A gallon pitcher, funnel and juicer would be helpful.

Absolutely Beautiful

It was beautiful, peaceful. I enjoyed the nature sounds. I loved Mango, the cat. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Cute cottage in the Rainforest

Great location for what we had planned while on the East side of the Island. Not too far to stores and to the ocean to watch the waves. The cottage was well equipped and worked well for us. We loved the outdoor shower!! The host provided clear instructions and was easy to communicate with.

Lovely, quiet, and clean! Kitchen had extra cooking supplies and bathrooms had some extra sunscreen, etc. We had a great time here and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay!

Perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood. This place has everything and more you would look for. We loved the grounds, comfy beds, and attention to detail. We will be coming back to the Rainforest Retreat!

Fantastic stay at the Rainforest Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at the Rainforest Cottage. The property was extremely clean and very private. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed and there was a large supply of items for use on day excursions (coolers, snorkeling gear, etc). The location was convenient to explore Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park and the Hilo area. Thank you Matt for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

Peaceful Resting Place

Nature abounds. This home is clean and comfortable. We loved the location. Sitting on the patio with our coffee listening to the birds was delightful.
