"Nice family trip to the beach. The condo was spacious and the primary bedroom was fantastic. The other two bedrooms were small, but were still accommodating. The property is very well maintained. There’s paths to walk on for a nature walk and the beach has some hard sand that makes long walks on the beach very easy to do. There were 6 of us that went and there was plenty of space. Great stay!"

"Located right in the heart of Old Monterey this historic building is close to shops and the beach. Very helpful staff and a very unique building."

"The staff are excellent from the Bell hop to the Concierge! We were there for a special occasion and recieved a very nice bottle of wine to enjoy in our room. Also at the Bar while waiting for our room to be ready I ordered a couple scotch on the rocks and in conversation with the bartender mentioned it was our 47th anniversary with that he gave us a very nice pour! We enjoyed our stay and highly recomend the Monterey Plaza to all!"

"Our room was clean which is the most important thing for me. There could be some attention to basic maintenance in some areas of the room, but overall I had no issues. The first night we arrived late and there was no onsite parking available as the lot was full. We were able to park on the street though and it was not an issue. The rest of the time we were easily able to find parking on site. Beds were comfortable and the property was quiet. We would stay again."

"As we walked into the large lobby/bar area people were chatting, a few dogs and kids were among them and many folks were enjoying a beverage. The view of the ocean ran the length of the great room and we glimpsed the bar to the right and a gorgeous fireplace to the left. Many folks were enjoying the soccer matches on a few big screens. Our check -in was quick with gracious staff and our grand daughter was excited to take her complimentary s’more supplies down to the beach fireplaces. The rooms were comfy and well supplied. The beach was gorgeous. The restaurant was outstanding. Great family vacation place"
