“This was a short, one night stay on a cross-Italy journey. Wonderful hotel and hosts and breakfast is delicious. Spotless and eco-friendly and set in nature, and near city center and Mount Cammarata. The host’s father is so kind - we so appreciated his conversation over breakfast. ”

“We'd go back to Sicily just to stay here again. Loved it!! The welcome was wonderful, the rooms are charming, romantic, fun and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner at the restaurant was 5 star. What a location to! The views out over land and see from the balconies (including roof top) are a show stopper in themselves but the town is also beautiful with every corner giving another wow moment of classic Sicily. “Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. A great wine list that includes some very lovely very local wines. The lunch was great, one dinner was good, the other not so much. However, that is my only criticism - a……

“We had an amazing experience at Casale Margherita. Very easy to get in touch with via WhatsApp, scheduled taxi rides for us to surrounding areas for a fee. The gentlemen that drove us to a surrounding city and again to the bus station the next day was so wonderful, brought us for a traditional Sicilian coffee and cannoli nearby. The pool was incredible.
